Despite his bankruptcy, however, creditors say he doesn&rsquo;t appear to be taking his situation seriously. (AP Photo\/Paul Sancya)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On Wednesday, federal court&nbsp;proceedings in White Plains, New York, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/07\/17\/politics\/rudy-giuliani-spending\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"reported by\">reported by<\/a> CNN, revealed Giuliani had blown through half of $60,000 in his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dark-money-free-speech-addressed-by-h-r-1\/\" title=\"Dark money, free speech addressed by H.R.1?\">personal bank account<\/a> in one week. The money expended includes a $14,000 check for his New York condo, a $25,000 check related to his Florida condo, smaller charges for Amazon and Apple, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/truckers-against-vax-mandate-raise-millions-gofundme-withholds-funds\/\" title=\"Truckers Against Vax Mandate Raise Millions; GoFundMe Withholds Funds\">travel expenses related<\/a> to his trip to Milwaukee to attend the Republican National Convention.<\/p>\n<p>The personal finance expenses were revealed as part of proceedings related to Giuliani&rsquo;s owing $350,000 to a forensic accountant hired to trace his assets during the bankruptcy.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Sean Lane of the Southern District of New York, who followed up to ensure the total was paid, grew openly frustrated with Giuliani&rsquo;s lack of cooperation, threatening his lawyers that &ldquo;bad things&rdquo; could follow if he kept on his current course.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;If your client persists in this course of action, there are a lot of bad things that can happen,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;There are a lot of things your client doesn&rsquo;t want to happen that will happen. None of this is a surprise.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This isn&rsquo;t complicated, nor is it unexpected, nor is it unusual. I&rsquo;m really at a loss. I strongly, strongly urge you and your client to sit down and figure out what you really want the endgame&nbsp;to look like,&rdquo; Lane added.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the threats, Giuliani has remained defiant. On Tuesday, he told CNN&rsquo;s Kaitlan Collins that he has &ldquo;no regrets&rdquo; and compared his situation to that of Japanese Americans put in internment camps during World War II.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Giuliani&rsquo;s situation has grown increasingly dire this year, with his financial troubles multiplying. In May, one of his last major sources of income, a radio show on WABC, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3000580\/rudy-giuliani-kicked-off-air-talking-about-2020-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"removed\">removed<\/a> from the air after he persisted in questioning the 2020 election. The order came from Republican billionaire John Catsimatidis, who owns the station.
