The members of a fraternity at the University \u2064of North Carolina\u2062 at Chapel Hill who gained attention<\/a>\u200b for protecting the U.S. flag \u2063during a protest will be speaking at the \u2064Republican National Convention.\u200c They are part of a lineup of “everyday American” \u2062speakers that includes college students<\/a><\/a>, \u2063a former school employee,\u2064 and a union manager. The fraternity \u200cmembers, who\u200b are part of the\u200b predominantly Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi,\u200c garnered support after their\u2064 actions at the protest and have \u200draised over $515,000 through a \u2063GoFundMe campaign. The money will be used for a party and charity donations. The Trump campaign has highlighted these \u200dfraternity members as part\u200c of an unprecedented lineup of speakers for the \u200bconvention. <\/p>\n
