The outlet also indicated that deeming the events as \u201cmajor\u201d is \u201c[a matter] of opinion.\u201d Biden also did not have any scheduled events on June 30.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Actor George Clooney, a prominent Biden donor, called on the current president to step down as the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee via a recent op-ed piece he penned for The New York Times, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/07\/10\/politics\/george-clooney-joe-biden\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNN<\/a>. Clooney said Democrats will not win in November with Biden as their nominee in the same piece, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>During the July 5 interview with Stephanopoulos, Biden claimed he did \u201c10 major events in a row\u201d following the first 2024 presidential debate. \u201cAfter that debate, I did 10 major events in a row, including until 2 o\u2019clock in the morning after the debate. I did events in North Carolina. I did events in \u2014 in \u2014 in Georgia, did events like this today, large crowds, overwhelming response, no \u2014 no \u2014 no slipping,\u201d Biden said. Biden referenced the series of public events he participated in after the media <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/06\/27\/biden-debate-opening-concerns-00165595\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">labeled<\/a> his debate performance as \u201cpoor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The claim is missing context. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/rollcall.com\/factbase\/biden\/topic\/calendar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biden\u2019s public schedule available via Roll Call<\/a>, he participated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yr9d79TNPfc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">first presidential debate<\/a> hosted by CNN on June 27 in Atlanta, Georgia. Biden and his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, also attended a campaign event after the debate at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta at 11:10 p.m, where, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2024\/06\/27\/remarks-by-president-biden-at-a-campaign-event-atlanta-ga-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">White House\u2019s website<\/a>, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-flees-podium-without-answering-questions-after-delivering-remarks-in-delaware-video\/\" title=\"Biden Flees Podium without Answering Questions After Delivering Remarks in Delaware (VIDEO)\">delivered remarks<\/a>. Following this event, the President and First Lady made an \u201cunscheduled stop\u201d at a Waffle House in Atlanta at 12:15 a.m. While at the restaurant, Biden answered a reporter\u2019s question about his debate performance, saying, \u201cI think we did well,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2024\/06\/28\/joe-biden-waffle-house-presidential-debate\/74243213007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USA Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The same schedule shows the Bidens departed Atlanta for Raleigh, North Carolina at 12:45 a.m. on June 28. The pair arrived in the state at 1:50 a.m., with the President greeting his supporters on the tarmac for a half hour, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/melton4raleigh\/status\/1806725555175203036\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tweet<\/a> from Raleigh City Council Member Jonathan Melton. The President and First Lady later participated in a campaign event in Raleigh at 12:30 p.m. Biden\u2019s full set of remarks during the event in Raleigh can be viewed via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2024\/06\/28\/remarks-by-president-biden-at-a-campaign-event-raleigh-nc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">White House\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?536669-1\/presidential-remarks-stonewall-national-monument-visitor-center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">delivered remarks<\/a> at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center Grand Opening Ceremony in New York, New York at 4:30 p.m. on June 28 before heading to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-reelection-bid-tests-white-houses-anti-campaigning-will\/\" title=\"Biden&#039;s reelection tests White House&#039;s anti-campaigning stance.\">campaign reception<\/a> at the Manhattan Center four hours later. Phil Murphy\u2019s residence. On July 2, he visited the D.C.
