Stop & Shop announced that it will be closing 32 underperforming grocery stores in the Northeast\u2062 United States by \u200cthe end of the year. The\u200d chain, owned by \u2062the Dutch company\u200d Ahold\u200d Delhaize, will shutter stores<\/a> in New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
