The timing and location of the blast, however, appears to have been chosen to minimize the \u201clikelihood of causing undue injury,\u201d according to the FBI\u2019s assessment.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"a\">\u201cBased on analysis of the information and evidence gathered throughout the investigation, the FBI<\/span> <span class=\"a\">assesses<\/span> <span class=\"a\">[the bomber\u2019s] detonation of the improvised explosive device w<\/span><span class=\"a\">as an intentional act in an<\/span> <span class=\"a\">effort to end his own life, driven in part by a totality of life stressors&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"a\">\u2013&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"a\">including paranoia, long-<\/span><span class=\"a\">held individualized beliefs adopted from several eccentric conspiracy theories, and the loss of<\/span> <span class=\"a\"><span class=\"a\">stabilizing anchors and deteriorating interpersonal relationship,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/498854539\/FBI-Releases-Report-on-Nashville-Bombing#from_embed\">reads<\/a> the FBI\u2019s six-page report, obtained by USA Today.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"a\">\u201cThe<\/span> <span class=\"a\">FBI\u2019s analysis did<\/span> <span class=\"a\">not reveal indications of a broader&nbsp;ideological motive to use violence to bring&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"a\">about social or political change, nor does it reveal indications of a specific personal grievance&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"a\">focused on individuals or entities in and around the location of the explosion,\u201d the report continues, before adding: \u201c<\/span><span class=\"a\">It is important to note that only [the bomber] knows the real reason why he detonated his explosive&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"a\">device. However, at this time, the FBI is confident, based on evidence collected, [the bomber\u2019s]<\/span><span class=\"a\">&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"a\">own<\/span> <span class=\"a\">writings, and interviews with those who knew him best, that the above assessment is accurate.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Joel Siskovic, a spokesperson for the FBI, said there was no evidence that the man targeted the nearby AT&amp;T building, reported <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/news\/crime\/2021\/03\/15\/fbi-nashville-bombing-suspect-acted-alone-driven-paranoia\/4701670001\/\">The Tennessean<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span>With the help of DNA evidence recovered from the blast site area, federal officials managed to identify the man as the suspect within days. According to the FBI, officials subsequently conducted hundreds of interviews amidst the course of the investigation and received thousands of tips.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The FBI\u2019s announcement comes nearly three months after the man detonated his RV in an act that knocked out some cell phone service and communications systems in the area, temporarily grounded flights out of Nashville International Airport, and left investigators struggling to find a motive for the blast as the city remained rattled. As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/report-human-remains-found-near-site-of-christmas-explosion-in-nashville\">The Daily Wire<\/a> previously reported:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"28.336144578313\">\n<p><em><span>The explosion, which has cut off some communications systems in the area and has grounded planes departing from the local airport, occurred early Friday morning, shortly after an RV started blaring a warning that an explosion would happen soon.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span>\u201cIt was saying, \u2018This vehicle has a bomb, you must evacuate the area,\u2019\u201d Kim Madlom, a 59-year old Nashville resident who fled before the blast, told<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/nation\/2020\/12\/25\/nashville-explosion-christmas\/\"><span>The Washington Post<\/span><\/a><span>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span>A voice emanating from the RV through a speaker reportedly warned residents they had 15 minutes to leave the area. Madlom, who fled the area, was on her way back after 20 minutes had passed without anything happening.
