The State Department plans to \u2062spend up to\u200d $100,000 training youth in\u200c the Ivory Coast to design games \u200cthat combat \u200cmisinformation<\/a>. The \u2062program, titled \u2064”Unmasking Misinformation \u2064through Gaming,” aims\u200c to create a \u2064network of young Ivorian leaders who work to solve disinformation \u200dproblems. Republican lawmakers have criticized the \u200bfunding, citing bias and government censorship concerns.
