Tim Brunenkant said.<\/p>\n<p>The dad came back outside to check on the child around 30 to 60 minutes later, and the car\u2019s engine was off.<\/p>\n<p>He found the little girl <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bruised-us-toddler-dies-found-unresponsive-father-three-illegal-immigrants-arrested\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unresponsive<\/a>, so he called 911.<\/p>\n<p>She was rushed to a hospital but was later pronounced dead, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc15.com\/news\/state\/child-dies-in-marana-after-being-found-in-vehicle-during-triple-digit-temps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KNXV-TV<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarana PD says the child\u2019s mother was not initially home, but shortly after she arrived, the girl was discovered in the vehicle, and 911 was called,\u201d the news station reported.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators are conducting interviews and checking whether there is any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chilling-surveillance-video-shows-suspect-minutes-parade-massacre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">surveillance video<\/a> footage available, ABC News reported.<\/p>\n<p>Brunenkant told the network no charges have been filed in the case, but charges have not been ruled out.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">JUST IN: A child is dead after being found unresponsive in a car in a residential area of Marana, northwest of Tucson. We are trying to find that out,\u201d Brunenkant said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox19.com\/2024\/07\/10\/toddler-dies-after-being-left-vehicle-scorching-heat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KOLD-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAgain, when those temperatures arise, especially this week when it\u2019s 110, it\u2019s just tragic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brunenkant cautioned against leaving a child in a car unattended for any length of time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe experience this nationwide every summer,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen temperatures get above 100 degrees, it could even be 90 degrees,\u201d Brunenkant said. \u201cIt just depends on the circumstances. It\u2019s very tragic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday\u2019s tragedy was the ninth time a child has died in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/4-year-old-calls-911-left-hot-car-saves-life-lives-6-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hot car<\/a> this year in the U.S., according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidsandcars.org\/hot-cars\/2024-deaths\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KidsandCars.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn most situations, this happens to loving, caring, and protective parents,\u201d the organization\u2019s website said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has happened to a teacher, dentist, social worker, police officer, nurse, clergyman, soldier, and even a rocket scientist.
