Blue Ivy appears at the beginning, with a shot of her playing a hand clapping game with her mother. She later appears all dolled up like a debutante, wearing a string of pearls and white gloves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\">\u201cIn the song\u2019s outro, Blue Ivy echoes her mother, singing, \u2018Brown skin girl\/Your skin just like pearls.\u2019 Also credited for the award is the Nigerian singer-songwriter Wizkid,\u201d the outlet added.<\/p>\n<p>Leah Peasall is the youngest person to win a Grammy, receiving the award at the age of 8 in 2001. The Peasall Sisters <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/beyonce-most-grammys-who-won-taylor-swift-women-b42f66a40a633a46b38d879c18c6453c\">won<\/a> the award for album of the year for their involvement in the \u201cO Brother, Where Art Thou?\u201d soundtrack.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrown Skin Girl\u201d is included in Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s \u201cBlack Is King,\u201d which was a visual album that includes African themes and was released last year in conjunction with the 2019 album \u201cThe Lion King: The Gift,\u201d which was created by Beyonc\u00e9 for The Lion King.<\/p>\n<p>Beyonc\u00e9 had a historic night at the Grammys on Sunday when she won four awards with nine nominations. The attributions made her the most awarded woman in the history of the award show.<\/p>\n<p>The singer gave an acceptance speech, saying, \u201cAs an artist, I believe it\u2019s my job and all of our jobs to reflect the times and it\u2019s been such a difficult time. So I wanted to uplift, encourage and celebrate all the beautiful black kings and queens that continue to inspire me and inspire the whole world.\u201d She <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/beyonce-most-grammys-who-won-taylor-swift-women-b42f66a40a633a46b38d879c18c6453c\">added<\/a>, \u201cI have been working my whole life\u2026This is such a magical night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know my daughter is watching,\u201d Beyonc\u00e9 said of Blue Ivy, who won her Grammy earlier in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Other women at the show discussed the awards and nominations, commenting on the recognition of women artists.<\/p>\n<p>Dua Lipa, who won best pop vocal album, <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/beyonce-most-grammys-who-won-taylor-swift-women-b42f66a40a633a46b38d879c18c6453c\">said<\/a> backstage, \u201cI feel like there\u2019s been a lot of female empowerment and lots of women winning awards tonight. And so it\u2019s been absolutely amazing to just be alongside all that, to feel that energy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While women received many awards and nominations throughout the night, one of the most-discussed moments was Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion\u2019s rendition of \u201cWAP.\u201d While many members of the media and critics praised the performance, others compared it to a strip club dance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/cardi-b-performs-wap-and-other-key-moments-from-the-grammys\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported on the media\u2019s reaction:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"15\">\n<p><em>Variety described the performance as \u201cjaw-dropping,\u201d celebrating the song\u2019s \u201cmessage of sexual empowerment.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe duo performed a strip club-themed version of the song, featuring a pole on a massive high heel and ending with the two rappers writhing together on a giant bed.
