Boeing has agreed to\u2063 plead guilty<\/a> to defrauding the government in a\u200b lawsuit over\u200c two crashes \u200dof the 737 Max plane in 2018 and 2019. The agreement includes a guilty plea<\/a>, a $243.6 million fine, and a $455 million investment\u2062 into improving compliance\u200c and safety programs. Boeing’s board of directors will also meet with the\u200d victims of the crashes\u200c as part of the agreement. The company confirmed the\u2062 agreement but said they would defer \u2063to the Justice Department \u2062for additional information. <\/p>\n
