The shooting resulted\u200d in\u2062 multiple casualties and\u200b injuries.\u200b Authorities are still investigating the motive behind \u200dthe shooting. The victims have\u200c been identified\u200c as\u200c two men\u200c and two women, all in their\u200b early 20s. The injured individuals were taken \u200bto a nearby hospital\u200d for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Police are \u200casking anyone with\u200c information about the shooting to \u2062come forward and assist with\u200c the investigation. The community is in \u2062shock over \u2064the senseless\u2064 violence that occurred at the\u2063 party.<\/p>\n<p>The names\u2062 of the \u2063victims have not been released\u2064 at this time, pending notification \u200dof\u2064 their families. Police found seven <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fourth-july-celebrations-turn-deadly-philadelphia-alarming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shooting victims<\/a> at the home, Mallery told media during a news conference.<\/p>\n<p>Four people were found dead, police said. Three people were taken to a hospital in Cincinnati in critical condition. They were expected to recover.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect led police on a chase that ended after his vehicle went off a road and fell into a ditch. The suspect had a self<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/8-injured-1-suspect-in-custody-following-shooting-at-philadelphia-transportation-station\/\" title=\"8 injured, 1 suspect in custody following shooting at Philadelphia transportation station\">-inflicted gunshot wound<\/a> and died at a hospital, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the suspect acted alone, and there was no ongoing threat to the public.<\/p>\n<p>People had gathered at the home for a birthday party for the 21-year-old son of the homeowner, Mallery said. The homeowner died in the shooting. It appeared that the 20-year-old suspect knew people at the party, but he had not been invited.<\/p>\n<p>A motive was under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know what\u2019s going on throughout the nation, but this is the first time that we\u2019ve had a mass shooting in Florence,\u201d Mallery said. \u201cYeah, it is very emotional.
