Democrats have been floating the idea of replacing Biden following his performance during the first presidential debate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/2024-election\/can-democrats-replace-joe-biden-ballot-rcna159374\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NBC News<\/a> indicated.<\/p>\n<p>The X video, viewed over one million times as of writing, claims Biden recently said he may resign from the presidency for medical reasons. \u201cBreaking Video: Biden Says He May Resign The Presidency For Medical Reasons,\u201d the X video\u2019s caption reads. The video features Biden speaking with Tapper.<\/p>\n<p>The claim is false, however. The video is originally from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/12\/03\/politics\/kamala-harris-working-partnership\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December 2020<\/a>, when Biden was the President-elect. In the video, Tapper asks Biden about his relationship with Harris and how they would handle potential disagreements. At the time, Biden explained that his relationship with Harris mirrored his relationship with former Democratic President Barack Obama, and they handled their disagreements privately.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s in private. She\u2019ll say, \u2018I think we should do A, B, C, or D.\u2019 And I\u2019ll say, \u2018I like A. I don\u2019t like B and C, and it\u2019s okay.
