Senate President Pro \u200cTempore\u2062 Mike McGuire believes\u200b $12 million is insufficient, and there are discussions about creating an agency to administer these reparations.\u2063 Lawmakers also\u2062 rejected legislation for free\u2064 college tuition for descendants of enslaved black people and housing and \u200bproperty tax assistance.
