It comes from a website that identifies itself as satirical.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The public now has access to 65 TB of data from CERN\u2019s ATLAS experiment, the first ATLAS release of its size, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/news\/2024-07-cern-atlas-tb.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Phys.org<\/a>. The data is from over a two year period and includes a guide, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>The Threads post purports that CERN admitted to ending the world in 2012. The post shows a screenshot appearing to show a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-sidney-powell-releases-statement-to-we-the-people-on-her-trump-election-legal-efforts-it-will-be-epic\/\" title=\"New: Sidney Powell Releases Statement to &quot;We the People&quot; on Her Trump Election Legal Efforts (&quot;It Will Be Epic&quot;)\">news article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Its headline reads, \u201c\u2018Sorry, But We Accidentally Ended The World In 2012\u2019 Admits CERN Scientists.\u201d A photo appears to show a CERN meeting, banners in the background reading \u201cCERN Higgs search update 04.07.2012.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Underneath this is a sub headline that reads, \u201cSCIENTISTS at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, CERN, have admitted today to ending the world as we know it back in 2012, while performing experiments into the Higgs boson particle, WWN can confirm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span>The post is inaccurate, however.
