United States<\/em><\/a>  revealed that U.S. presidents are entitled \u201cto at least presumptive immunity from prosecution\u201d for official acts during their presidency, with the decision coming to a 6-3 opinion by the court. Habba expressed gratitude toward the Supreme Court for its decision, calling it \u201ca good day\u201d when the court recognizes the constitutional rights of presidents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, yes, the lower courts again will have to hear it,\u201d Habba said on Fox News\u2019s <em>America\u2019s Newsroom<\/em>. \u201cIt will, in my opinion, slow down Jack Smith\u2019s persecution and selective prosecution of President Trump, and I don\u2019t see how this case could go forward before the election. But again, I would say that there are still issues to be discussed, such as how Jack Smith even got into this position. United States <\/em>stems from Smith\u2019s four-count indictment on Trump, which alleges that the former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/a-complicated-history-four-times-joe-biden-and-kamala-harris-have-gone-head-to-head\/\" title=\"\u00a0A Complicated History: Four Times Joe Biden and Kamala Harris Have Gone Head To Head\">president attempted<\/a> to subvert the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2020-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2020 election<\/a> results and that he intended for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/january-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>the Jan. 6 Capitol riot<\/a> to happen.
