However, the pier has encountered multiple problems, needing to be \u2063dismantled three times since its construction due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pope-francis-multilateralism-must-not-be-stifled-by-nationalistic-demands\/\" title=\"Pope Francis: Multilateralism Must Not Be Stifled by \u2018Nationalistic Demands\u2019\">adverse weather conditions<\/a> and safety concerns. Recently, it was moved back to Ashdod, Israel, in anticipation of high seas. Despite these setbacks, U.S. Central Command shared that over 19.4 million pounds of aid had been delivered through this temporary maritime\u200c corridor. \u2063However, operational challenges have\u2063 persisted, resulting in an investigation \u200dby the Offices of Inspector General of the \u200bDepartment of Defense and the U.S. Agency for International Development into the pier&#8217;s effectiveness and management.
