Little was convicted of third-degree murder in 1989, a crime that he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/prince-harry-and-meghan-put-in-second-row-at-queens-funeral-harry-forbidden-from-saluting-her-casket\/\" title=\"Prince Harry And Meghan Put In Second Row At Queen\u2019s Funeral, Harry Forbidden From Saluting Her Casket\">served ten years<\/a> for, and has since become active in community efforts to decrease violent crime, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inquirer.com\/philly\/news\/20140226_After_20_years_of_plotting_revenge__he_tells_his_brother_s_killer___I_forgive_you_.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to the Philadelphia Inquirer.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&rsquo;s performance at Thursday&rsquo;s debate, which included a number of verbal gaffes, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/06\/28\/joe-biden-replacement-convention-debate-democrats-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sparked<\/a> strong concern among senior Democrats, with many saying he should step down. The New York Times editorial board has since <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/06\/28\/nyt-editorial-board-calling-biden-to-drop-out-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">called<\/a> on the president to drop out of the presidential race.<\/p>\n<p>Little, in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation, pointed to Biden&rsquo;s handling of the economy as well as the wars in Gaza and Ukraine as reasons why he wasn&rsquo;t committed to backing Biden before the debate.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not a blind voter, so I like to see what&rsquo;s really going on,&rdquo; Little told the DCNF. &ldquo;So I&rsquo;m hopeful now, after hearing [Biden] talk &hellip; that hopefully Democrats can hold him accountable for building this economy back up.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We have the worst two people running for president,&rdquo; Little said to the DCNF. &ldquo;Maybe if we had someone else running, we&rsquo;d have a better chance.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<blockquote data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Q: If the election were tomorrow, who would you vote for?<\/p>\n<p>Pennsylvania voter: I would vote for Biden, for sure<\/p>\n<p>Q: Would that have been your answer before the debate?<\/p>\n<p>Pennsylvania voter: No <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/J9aQ2ofDW8\">pic.twitter.com\/J9aQ2ofDW8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Biden-Harris HQ (@BidenHQ) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BidenHQ\/status\/1806697086395490730?\">June 28, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Little had no opinion on Robert F. Kennedy Jr., he told the DCNF. He also praised former President Donald Trump&rsquo;s handling of the economy but said the former president&rsquo;s &ldquo;exaggerating&rdquo; and &ldquo;extreme&rdquo; political positions turned him off from supporting him.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Will the fact that a murder endorsed Joe Biden change any Biden voters&#8217; minds?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Speaking about his murder conviction, Little told the DCNF that he had acted in self-defense, only returning fire after he and his friends had been fired upon outside a skating rink in Philadelphia, a claim that he unsuccessfully argued in court.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Will looked to his surroundings for leadership and advice, eventually finding what he needed in gangs, drugs and violence,&rdquo; a biographical section on Little&rsquo;s personal website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.willlatiflittle.com\/home#author\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reads<\/a>. &ldquo;His experience led to a gunfight that took another man&rsquo;s life, a man just like him.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Little emphasized that he had done a &ldquo;180&rdquo; and that his life now is focused on spreading a message of &ldquo;forgiveness and redemption,&rdquo; giving presentations at schools, prisons and for corporate America. He noted that the brother of the man he killed ultimately forgave him and worked with him as an activist for a few years.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&rsquo;s performance at Thursday&rsquo;s debate sent shockwaves through the Democratic ecosystem so severe that liberal megadonors <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/06\/29\/dem-megadonors-intervention-convince-biden-step-down-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mulled<\/a> holding an intervention aimed at getting the president to drop out of the race.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to mumbling and a sickly appearance, Biden also made false claims at the debate, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/06\/27\/biden-troops-died-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">saying<\/a>, for instance, that no members of the armed forces had been killed overseas during his time in office. Thirteen service members <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/26\/united-states-marines-killed-kabul-afghanistan-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">died<\/a> during the United States&rsquo; withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, however.<\/p>\n<p>Biden also asserted that Trump called neo-Nazi&rsquo;s &ldquo;very fine people,&rdquo; a claim that has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/biden-repeats-claim-debunked-liberal-fact-checker-neo-nazis-very-fine-people\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">debunked<\/a> by fact checkers.<\/p>\n<p>Rapper Fat Joe, another convicted criminal, also lent Biden some post-debate support, appearing at a rally in North Carolina with the president on Friday, Axios <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2024\/06\/27\/biden-fat-joe-rappers-debate-rally?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_campaign=editorial&amp;utm_medium=social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.
