The lawsuit, filed in December 2022,\u2062 challenges the administration&#8217;s decision to renew funding\u2064 for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency \u200b(UNRWA), which had been stopped by the Trump administration in\u200c 2018 due to concerns over the agency&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/every-black-life-matters-co-founder-blisters-biden-on-critical-race-theory\/\" title=\"Every Black Life Matters Co-Founder Blisters Biden On Critical Race Theory\">alleged support<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/moscow-claims-ukraine-attacked-key-crimea-bridge\/\" title=\"Moscow alleges Ukraine attacked vital Crimea bridge.\">terrorist\u200d activities<\/a>.\u200c Jackson contends that the restored\u2063 funding, which amounts to over $1.5 billion for Gaza through UNRWA, violates the Taylor Force Act and the Administrative Procedure Act by unlawfully benefiting\u200b the Palestinian\u2062 Authority.\u200c U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk supported Jackson&#8217;s \u2063stance by denying the \u2064federal government\u2019s motion to dismiss the lawsuit.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_79\">\n<p>A federal judge in Texas granted Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ronny-jackson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Ronny Jackson<\/a> (R-TX) standing to sue the Biden administration for reinstating funding to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/unrwa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>United Nations<\/a>-affiliated organization whose members have been accused of helping Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/24784386-kacsunrwaord062824\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>denied<\/a> the federal government&rsquo;s motion to dismiss Jackson&rsquo;s lawsuit challenging the Biden administration&rsquo;s decision to reinstate funding for the United Nations Works and Relief Agency.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson filed the complaint in December 2022, alleging that the Biden administration &ldquo;unlawfully&rdquo; reinstated UNRWA funding after former President Donald Trump terminated the flow of money to the agency in 2018. The Trump administration invoked the policy change over concerns that the agency was funding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/beltway-confidential\/2998578\/unrwa-is-rotten-to-its-core\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>terrorist groups<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Texas Republican alleged the Biden administration &ldquo;unlawfully&rdquo; reinstated the funding, giving more than $1.5 billion to Gaza in part through UNRWA funds. The plaintiff accused the government of violating the Taylor Force Act and the Administrative Procedure Act, which prohibits assistance that &ldquo;directly&rdquo; benefits the Palestinian Authority.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><figcaption>Rep.
