I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It\u2019s not about the money at that point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 comments ramped up speculation that many teams might try to draft <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/lebrons-son-bronny-gets-snubbed-1st-round-nba-draft-teams-choose-players\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bronny James<\/a> to lure the superstar to their rosters.<\/p>\n<p>However, in recent weeks, the likelihood such a move would be made began to look doubtful.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/06\/27\/sports\/rich-paul-makes-bronny-james-australia-threat-during-nba-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>, the younger James\u2019s agent, Rich Paul, warned other teams not to draft his client.<\/p>\n<p>If a team Bronny didn\u2019t want to play for were to select him, Paul warned that his client would then opt to play basketball in Australia rather than the NBA.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>A Note from Our Deputy Managing Editor:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>I heard a chilling comment the other day: \u201cWe don\u2019t even know if an election will be held in 2024.\u201d <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>That wasn\u2019t said by a conspiracy theorist or a doomsday prophet.
