He also mentioned that the reluctance from certain organizations such as \u200dthe CIA to\u2064 disclose \u200dthese \u2062files suggests \u2064that\u2064 something \u200csignificant might\u200c be concealed within them. Trump believes the CIA, at best, played a part in suppressing documents regarding the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy. At worst, he may believe the CIA was actually involved.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of how far his belief goes, he has publicly committed to releasing the file for the American people to read if he wins a second term in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n<p>He shared this information Thursday on the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=blqIZGXWUpU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">All-In Podcast<\/a>\u201d with hosts Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks and David Friedberg, who \u201ccover all things economic, tech, political, social &#038; poker.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Trump wasn\u2019t putting on any kind of poker face when broached with the question of whether he would be releasing the Kennedy file.<\/p>\n<p>Nor did he flinch when posed with the question by Calacanis as to whether he agreed with independent presidential candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/news\/robert-f-kennedy-jr-cia-jfk-assassination\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> that the CIA killed his uncle.<\/p>\n<p>What Trump did was explain how he was persuaded by those in his Cabinet to hold off from releasing the secretive information a bit longer.<\/p>\n<p>It was Palihapitiya who pushed the issue as the former president was being called away to dinner. The tech billionaire, who has thrown his weight behind Trump, didn\u2019t want the GOP candidate to depart without explaining the apparent change of heart.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-vows-to-release-all-jfk-files-after-bending-to-intelligence-groups-he-mistrusts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2016 election<\/a>, you said the first thing or one of the things you wanted to do was release the JFK file,\u201d the host said. \u201cAnd then you said later, \u2018I saw it and I just, I wasn\u2019t really ready to do it.\u2019 And then I saw a clip where you changed your mind and you said, \u2018I think we\u2019re ready to see this file.\u2019 And I\u2019m just curious, what\u2019s in it? What happened?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Calacanis interrupted Palihapitiya\u2019s questioning as well, saying, \u201cTell us right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Did parts of the US government assassinate President Kennedy over Vietnam?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Trump explained that he did release some of the information, but received pushback from people in his administration on going any further.<\/p>\n<p>They must have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/debate-moderators-reaction-bidens-2020-election-resurfaces-fairness-called-question\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sounded<\/a> very convincing at the moment. It was Trump\u2019s trust in them that caused him to refrain from releasing the complete file.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was hit by some people that work for me that are great people, that you would respect. They asked me not to do it, and I\u2019m saying, \u2018Why? Tell me why?\u2019 And they said, \u2018Sir, I think it needs a little more time,&#8217;\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I released a lot, but I said, \u2018If they feel so strongly, I respect the people.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut this time, I\u2019m just gonna do it,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n<p>Calacanis then said, \u201cRFK says the CIA killed his uncle. Do you believe that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell this wasn\u2019t CIA that asked me, but I think CIA was probably behind it,\u201d the former president said. That last clause is where it gets murky. It\u2019s not clear whether Trump was saying he thinks the CIA was behind the document suppression or whether he thinks the CIA was behind the actual assassination. Viewers were split on which position Trump was taking.<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/blqIZGXWUpU?si=yWu3kC2pCQQCx0-E&#038;start=2777\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen   style=\"display:none\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Not only is the JFK file relevant history, but it is the people\u2019s document, not the government\u2019s. It should be placed in the hands of the people.<\/p>\n<p>The reason the CIA \u2014 or whatever other organization or individual \u2014 would want the information suppressed can\u2019t be good. It reeks of something being hidden.<\/p>\n<p>Trump now seems to be willing to let the people decide for themselves. It\u2019s exactly what he should do.<\/p>\n<p>What exactly is the government intent on hiding?<\/p>\n<p>If a part of the U.S. government was involved in the assassination of Kennedy over Vietnam or for some other reason, this is information that will help to design adequate steps going forward.<\/p>\n<p>It will also speak volumes as to how far back our government went rogue.<\/p>\n<p>This is just another reason to vote for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/took-obama-give-us-trump-first-time-now-biden-going-return-white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> in November.
