He then argued he could not think of a policy that was more \u201cpro-family, pro-women, pro-business\u201d than his proposal.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, McCormick ran in the Republican Party\u2019s Pennsylvania Senate primary election, though <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2875908\/mccormick-concedes-pa-senate-primary-to-oz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>lost the nomination to Dr. Mehmet Oz<\/a>. This November, McCormick seeks to unseat incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) called \u201camazing technology\u201d<\/a> last month. Former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a>, who is running for office again, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/2872497\/trump-gop-always-support-ivf-alabama-ruling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>has also come to the defense of IVF<\/a>, arguing that the Republican Party wants to \u201cmake it easier\u201d for voters to create families.<\/p>\n<p>Not all Republicans are on board with IVF, however, as Rep.
