Last year, ActBlue removed an account for the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, which the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2585296\/democratic-behemoth-actblue-boots-anti-israel-group-accused-of-terror-ties-off-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>reported<\/a> is a project of AFGJ. The charity in Tucson, Arizona, houses an Israeli<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/document-heres-why-israel-designated-six-palestinian-charities-as-terror-groups\/\" title=\"DOCUMENT: Here\u2019s Why Israel Designated Six Palestinian Charities as Terror Groups\">-designated terrorist group<\/a> called Samidoun that shares staffers with the PFLP \u2014 a fact that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2579720\/palestinian-terror-tied-group-booted-from-new-online-fundraising-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>previously<\/a> prompted payment processors, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2581201\/paypal-becomes-third-payment-processor-to-stop-working-with-palestinian-terror-tied-group\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>including<\/a> PayPal, to jump ship from AFGJ.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to know if the tentacles of terror funding are wrapped around the most monied Democrat financing entity and exploiting legitimate payment services that Americans use every day,\u201d said Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2582426\/fbi-and-treasury-must-investigate-actblue-over-anti-israel-fundraising-issa-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>who, in 2023,<\/a> asked the FBI and the Treasury Department to investigate whether ActBlue violated federal law in allowing the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel to fundraise.<\/p>\n<p>News of the fundraising operation comes days after a <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> report revealed AFGJ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/investigations\/3057863\/progressive-group-terrorism-ties-lobbying\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>appears to have unlawfully failed to disclose lobbying<\/a> on the state and federal level. That is because its project, Colorado Freedom Fund, lobbies in connection to various bills in the Centennial State, financial disclosures show.<\/p>\n<p>Marc Greendorfer, an attorney leading Zachor Legal Institute, a think tank that has pressed for federal investigations into AFGJ, said it is surprising that ActBlue and the payment processors have not done basic due diligence to restrict a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-judicial-pick-hobnobbed-with-anti-israel-activists-at-event-sponsored-by-terrorism-tied-group\/\" title=\"Biden's judicial nominee associated with anti-Israel activists at event backed by terrorism-linked organization\">terrorism-linked group<\/a> from fundraising.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlliance for Global Justice has a track record of funding terror,\u201d Greendorfer said, noting that companies have a duty to their investors to \u201cdo a better job of vetting those who use its platforms, especially when the user has a long, documented history of supporting terror.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ActBlue did not reply to a request for comment.
