Despite this lead, Kennedy has\u200c not yet\u2064 qualified for the ballot in Georgia. The survey also shows independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with 8.5% and Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver with 1%, while 7.9% of respondents said they were undecided. Kennedy has yet to qualify for the ballot in Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>The poll continues a trend of Trump holding leads over Biden in Georgia, which the former president narrowly lost in 2020. The <em>RealClearPolitics<\/em> polling average <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/georgia\/trump-vs-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"shows\">shows<\/a> Trump leading Biden 46.2%-42.2% in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-americans-see-their-country-on-july-4th\/\" title=\"How Americans See Their Country on July 4th\">recent surveys conducted<\/a> in the state.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2020 election, Biden won the state, 49.5%-49.2%, by roughly 12,000 votes. The state is considered a \u201ctoss-up\u201d by the <em>Cook Political Report<\/em>, but Trump has not trailed in a single poll since November 2023 \u2014 when one poll showed him trailing the president by 1 point.<\/p>\n<p>Both men will face off Thursday at CNN\u2019s Atlanta studio in the first of their two debates.
