Wade by the Dobbs \u2063v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization decision. She \u200cquestioned the integrity and direction of the Supreme Court justices, including Chief Justice John Roberts, and showed concern about their impartiality and the influence of their personal beliefs\u2063 on judicial decisions.\u2064 Additionally, Pelosi touched on other Supreme Court issues and cases related to children&#8217;s \u2062rights in the womb.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Former Speaker of the House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/nancy-pelosi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Nancy Pelosi<\/a> (D-CA) blasted the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/supreme-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Supreme Court<\/a> on Monday night. She said she no longer believed in it and claimed it had gone rogue.<\/p>\n<p>During an interview with CNN\u2019s Anderson Cooper on Monday Night, while discussing the second anniversary of the <em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em> that overturned <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, Pelosi was asked about her confidence in the Supreme Court and what she thought about the judicial branch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you have confidence in the Supreme Court?\u201d Cooper asked Pelosi. \u201cThey have yet to rule on this immunity thing. All this about Alito and the flags, and Clarence Thomas and his wife, I mean, do you have confidence in the Supreme Court?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Nancy Pelosi says SCOTUS has 'gone rogue'\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h-gkeGNm41k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen    style=\"display:none\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>\u201cNo, I think they\u2019ve gone rogue,\u201d Pelosi said. \u201cIt\u2019s most unfortunate. But it\u2019s unfortunate further to see what the other justices, what happened to the Chief Justice? Did he go weak, or did he go rogue? I don\u2019t know. And that\u2019s the same thing with these members of Congress, if I can take it back to that\u2026So no, I don\u2019t have confidence in the Supreme Court.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pelosi then mentioned more about the case that focused on protecting the lives of children in the womb. She accused the Supreme Court justices of injecting their personal beliefs and perspectives into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/one-of-two-wisconsin-supreme-court-rulings-give-president-trump-the-win-should-be-enough-votes-to-win-the-state\/\" title=\"One of Two Wisconsin Supreme Court Rulings Give President Trump the Win \u2013 Should Be Enough Votes to Win the State\">court rulings<\/a> and blasted them for doing so. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI respect their point of view. If they have a point of view about a woman\u2019s right to choose,\u201d Pelosi said. \u201cBut that\u2019s not what they\u2019re there to do, to advocate for a point of view. Run for Congress. They\u2019re there to uphold the Constitution of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pelosi then referenced the confirmation hearings for some of the Court\u2019s newer justices. She emphasized that they said they respected the Court\u2019s precedents during the hearings. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd many of them said in their hearings for confirmation, they said that they supported the precedents of the Court,\u201d Pelosi said. \u201cThe precedents of the Court supported the privacy in the Constitution. And what did they do? They vote their opinion on policy rather than the oath of office to uphold the Constitution of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization <\/em>isn\u2019t the first time in the country\u2019s history that a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sidney-powell-is-an-american-legal-giant\/\" title=\"Sidney Powell Is an American Legal Giant\">court case<\/a> went against precedent. It has happened before, most notably the 1954 ruling in <em>Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka. <\/em>In this case, the Supreme Court<em> <\/em>went against precedent to overturn the 1896 decision in <em>Plessy v. Ferguson, <\/em>establishing a constitutional right of segregation in the infamous \u201cseparate but equal\u201d doctrine. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Pelosi concluded the discussion about the Supreme Court by mentioning that she wanted the Court to return to the way the Founders intended it. She implied that doing so was the only way the judicial branch could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tj-ducklo-resigns-as-white-house-deputy-press-secretary\/\" title=\"TJ Ducklo Resigns As White House Deputy Press Secretary\">earn back<\/a> its respect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo I want us to get back to a place where the three branches of government, as our Founders initiated, are respected across the board.
