The administration pushed the FDA to extend\u2063 their\u2064 legal authorities and mandated \u200dvaccinations for the military, federal employees,\u200d and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/supreme-court-rejects-bidens-osha-vaccine-mandate-on-private-employers-upholds-cms-mandate\/\" title=\"Supreme Court Rejects Biden's OSHA Vaccine Mandate on Private Employers; Upholds CMS Mandate\">large private businesses<\/a> despite initial EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) vaccines showing \u200bpotential risks. The Supreme Court, however, \u2063deemed mandates for private businesses \u2062illegal.<\/p>\n<p>Key findings from the report\u200c include\u200b the administration&#8217;s\u2062 efforts \u2062to\u2062 quickly grant full licensure to the Pfizer COVID-19\u200b vaccine\u2063 to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-government-wont-impose-vaccine-mandate-but-private-companies-can-psaki-says\/\" title=\"Federal Government Won\u2019t Impose Vaccine Mandate, But Private Companies Can, Psaki Says\">support vaccine mandates<\/a>, in stark contradiction to\u2062 the usual meticulous FDA review and monitoring processes. Acting \u2064FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock and Dr.\u200d Peter Marks, director of the\u200b FDA\u2019s Center \u2063for Biologics Evaluation and\u200c Research, reportedly accelerated the licensure process, \u200dignored critical voices, and\u2063 sidelined experts with concerns, \u2064particularly about \u2064myocarditis \u2063risks among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-year-of-living-fearfully\/\" title=\"The Year of Living Fearfully\">healthy young people<\/a>. The FDA \u200calso admitted \u200cto rushing booster recommendations and mishandling vaccine injury\u200d reports.<\/p>\n<p>These actions were partly\u2063 driven by political pressures and the administration&#8217;s desire to have a fully approved vaccine that would boost public confidence and \u2062comply with the\u200b Biden administration&#8217;s timeline for implementing vaccine mandates. The report \u2062suggests that \u200dcritical \u200dsafety protocols and standards were compromised\u200b to meet these political \u2063and administrative objectives.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Biden administration pressured federal health agencies to ignore and sidestep several vaccine safety protocols to fast-track its Covid shot mandates, a new report obtained by The Federalist shows. <\/p>\n<p>Published by the House Administrative State Subcommittee, which is spearheaded by Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., the interim staff report reveals how the Biden administration bullied Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials to \u201cgo beyond their legal authorities while \u2026 it ignored risks revealed in the initial release of the [Emergency Use Authorization] EUA vaccine and required that the vaccine be given to the military and federal employees.\u201d The administration also mandated large private businesses require their employees to get the shot, but that directive was <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/01\/14\/the-supreme-courts-ruling-on-vaccine-mandates-is-frighteningly-weak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">deemed illegal<\/a> by the U.S. Supreme Court. <\/p>\n<p>As noted in the report, FDA policy regarding the EUA Covid shots \u201cwas that manufacturers and the government monitor and communicate findings as to the effects of a product being rolled out under that lower, emergency-response standard.\u201d In defiance of those protocols, the Biden administration purportedly \u201cpivoted away from this important requirement and sought to ensure the EUA vaccine received full licensure as a way to support vaccine mandates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile the vaccine approval process can be robust and lengthy, the Biden Administration through [then] Acting [FDA] Commissioner Janet Woodcock sought to move on an arbitrary political timeline and pressed the FDA to ignore its regulations in the approval process,\u201d the report reads. \u201cDuring this time, the Administration ignored or silenced voices that questioned the merits of universal vaccination and downplayed the serious injuries from the EUA vaccine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Subcommittee interviews with FDA officials responsible for vaccine approval reportedly unveiled that the agency \u201crushed the vaccine licensing and subsequent recommendations for vaccine boosters.\u201d Massie and committee members discovered that federal bureaucrats \u201cmishandled reports of vaccine injury, despite requirements to actively obtain, synthesize, and report feedback on the safety and efficacy of the EUA vaccine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Documents and interviews from FDA further reveal that the Biden administration aimed to \u201cfully approve\u201d Pfizer\u2019s Covid jab through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/vaccines-blood-biologics\/development-approval-process-cber\/biologics-license-applications-bla-process-cber\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biologics Licensing Application (BLA) process<\/a>, despite evidence showing the EUA shot could harm patients. According to the report, these decisions are attributed to Woodcock and Dr. Peter Marks, the director of the FDA\u2019s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. <\/p>\n<p>Under Woodcock and Marks, the FDA reportedly \u201ccut corners in its usually rigorous BLA process to brand the Pfizer EUA vaccine as the only fully licensed \u2018safe and effective\u2019 COVID-19 vaccine on the market at the time,\u201d the report reads. \u201cThe BLA approval occurred despite the objections of the FDA\u2019s experts in vaccine development who were concerned about risks for healthy young people caused by the Pfizer vaccine, particularly the risk of myocarditis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The decision to sidestep basic safety protocols when reviewing Pfizer\u2019s shot \u201ccomported with pressure to mandate the vaccine,\u201d according to the analysis. When testifying before the subcommittee, Marks attributed his decision to rush the shot\u2019s approval to his desire to, as the report summarized, \u201cappease outsiders who wanted to have an approved vaccine that gave them \u2018more confidence\u2019 in a vaccine, even though it was the exact same vaccine already on the market under the EUA.\u201d The FDA official specifically noted how the Biden administration could not mandate the Covid shots unless they received BLA approval from the agency. <\/p>\n<p>As described in the subcommittee\u2019s analysis, the primary factor \u201cstanding in the way\u201d of Pfizer\u2019s Covid shot receiving BLA approval \u201cwere indications of EUA vaccine injuries in some patients.\u201d Giving said approval for the Pfizer shot by the deadline demanded by the Biden administration would require the FDA to lower its approval standards \u2014 a decision Woodcock and Marks reportedly signed off on. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo ensure a quicker approval, Acting Commissioner Woodcock and Dr. Marks removed the experts who voiced concerns during the BLA process,\u201d the report reads. \u201cActing Commission Woodcock and Dr. Marks proceeded, despite the concerns, and completed the approval to meet the deadline that the Biden White House had set.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The subcommittee also cited actions by the CDC to \u201cundermine efforts by members of Congress to clarify the CDC statements about the vaccine\u2019s efficacy\u201d and collude with Big Tech to censor speech questioning the Covid shots\u2019 efficacy. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/01\/bombshell-emails-show-the-biden-administration-colluded-with-big-tech-to-censor-covid-misinformation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Evidence<\/a> of this collaboration is documented in a 2022 lawsuit brought against the federal government by Missouri and Louisiana, which alleges that the Biden administration\u2019s collusion with social media companies to silence online speech they don\u2019t like violates the First Amendment. <\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to issue a final verdict on the case (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/murthy-v-missouri\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Murthy v.
