I support this Administration\u2019s agenda \u2014 and will continue my communications work focused on our climate and environmental policies,\u201d Cherry said on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Since the posts surfaced, Cherry has wiped his X account, but several of the now-deleted posts have been reported by various outlets.<\/p>\n<p>The various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-democratic-opponent-to-dan-crenshaw-makes-passing-remark-about-eye-damaged-by-ied-heres-how-the-rep-responded\/\" title=\"Former Democratic Opponent To Dan Crenshaw Makes Passing Remark About Eye Damaged By IED. Responded\">screenshots posted<\/a> by users on X allege Cherry had posts criticizing police, U.S. support for Israel, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>In one 2015 post, he equated police to \u201cslave patrols,\u201d and later that year, he allegedly claimed \u201cthe modern day police system is a direct evolution of slave patrols and lynch mobs,\u201d according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SteveGuest\/status\/1804959752247714240\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"screenshot\">screenshot<\/a> of posts from Cherry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbolish ICE,\u201d he allegedly said in a post from January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Other past posts allegedly show Cherry opposing U.S. support of Israel while claiming the \u201coccupation of Palestine\u201d must be ended.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCheersing in bars to ending the occupation of Palestine \u2014 no shame and f*** your glares #ISupportGaza #FreePalestine,\u201d Cherry allegedly said in a July 2014 post, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/biden-official-says-past-social-media-posts-dont-reflect-current-views-vows-support-admin-agenda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"according to\">according to<\/a> Fox News.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/libsoftiktok\/status\/1805041511995969609\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"set\">set<\/a> of screenshots allegedly included multiple posts in which he appeared to take issue with the number of white people in a group or event, including questioning why Iowa, which has a majority of white people, still had the first presidential primary contest.<\/p>\n<p>Cherry previously worked in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-times-reporter-forced-to-resign-over-n-word-controversy-tells-his-side-of-the-story\/\" title=\"New York Times Reporter Forced To Resign Over N-Word Controversy Tells His Side Of The Story\">communications department<\/a> for the Interior Department, working for the Biden campaign in Arizona in 2020 and the left-leaning group Media Matters from 2015 until 2017.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tyler Cherry, the incoming White House associate communications director, is scrutinized for past social media posts that resurfaced after his new role was announced.
