These images\u200c were posted by a user on X, showing\u2062 multiple\u200d views of the dolphin at sunset, with some including a man \u200binteracting \u200dwith the dolphin using\u200c a stick. However, the authenticity of these images\u200b has been disputed. Upon investigation, it \u2064was revealed by Hive Moderation that the images\u200d are \u200bdigitally fabricated\u200c using artificial\u200c intelligence (AI), \u200cthus they are not genuine. In a separate but related environmental issue, \u200ca $5,000 reward has been announced for \u200binformation\u200c leading to the identification of a person\u2063 responsible for dismembering a dolphin found\u200d on the New York City coast. They have been created with the use of artificial intelligence (AI), Hive Moderation reveals.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A $5,000 reward is being offered to find a culprit who dismembered a dolphin who was found dead on the New York City coast, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/dismembered-dolphin-washes-ashore-in-nyc-5000-reward-noaa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CBS News<\/a>. The animal, which is protected under federal law, was missing multiple fins along with its tail, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>Images posted on X appear to show multiple angles of a bright pink dolphin washed ashore on a beach during sunset. Two of these show a man appearing to poke the dolphin with a stick or other object while the third shows the dolphin alone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey say a pink dolphin was stuck on the beach in the OBX of N.C.
