Jackson aired\u2064 this demand on Fox News\u2019s \u200d&#8221;Sunday\u200d Morning Futures\u2063 With Maria Bartiromo&#8221; \u200dstating the need arises from persistent accusations against Biden using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rethinking-steroid-bias-for-mlb-hall-of-fame-consideration\/\" title=\"Reevaluating Steroid Bias in MLB Hall of Fame\">performance-enhancing \u200ddrugs<\/a>. Citing a notable difference in Biden&#8217;s demeanor during his State of the Union address compared to his usual public appearances,\u200b Jackson\u2062 argues that these suspicions warrant a formal test. Furthermore, he is preparing to send \u200ca letter to this effect\u200c to \u200cPresident Biden, his doctor, and his Cabinet, reflecting the concerns of many Americans about Biden&#8217;s fitness and integrity in this regard. Ronnie Jackson (R-TX) demanded that President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Joe Biden\">Joe Biden<\/a> submit to a drug test before and after his debate with former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Joe Biden\">Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Republicans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Republicans<\/a> have long accused Biden of using performance-enhancing drugs to appear more agile, a charge the White House has repeatedly denied. Jackson took such allegations to another level in an appearance on Fox News\u2019s <em>Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sending a letter to President Biden, to his physician, Doctor O\u2019Connor, and I\u2019m CCing in his entire Cabinet. And it\u2019s embarrassing that I have to do this, and it\u2019s really embarrassing, as a former White House physician, to have to do something like this, but we don\u2019t have any choice based on what\u2019s going on,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBut I\u2019m going to be demanding, on behalf of many millions of concerned Americans right now, that he submit to a drug test before and after this debate, specifically looking for performance-enhancing drugs, because we see, we\u2019ve seen recently in his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/State-of-the-Union\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>State of the Union<\/a> address, that there was a Joe Biden that came out that was not similar at all to what we see on a day-to-day basis for the last three and a half years,\u201d Jackson continued.<\/p>\n<p>He speculated that Biden\u2019s debate prep would center around experimenting with different doses in order to get it right for the actual debate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, he\u2019s going to be Camp David for a full week before the debate; part of that is probably experimenting with, you know, just getting the doses just right,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Texas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Texas<\/a> Republican said. \u201cBecause, you know, they have to treat his cognition. They have to give him something to help him think straighter. They have to give him something to wake him up, you know, to for his alertness. And then, you know, he\u2019s been agitated, we see that all the time. And that\u2019s a common symptom of signs of the cognitive disorder he seems to be suffering from. And so, they\u2019re probably going to give him something to take off the edge of that as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> reached out to Biden for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has repeatedly speculated and joked since the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-secretary-of-state-there-will-be-a-recount\/\" title=\"Georgia Secretary of State: 'There Will Be a Recount'\">2020 campaign<\/a> that Biden is using drugs to stay alert.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the Minnesota Republican Party\u2019s annual Lincoln Reagan Dinner, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3009163\/trump-demand-drug-test-biden-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"said\">said<\/a> Biden was going to be \u201cso jacked up\u201d for the debate, adding that he was \u201chigh as a kite\u201d during his State of the Union Address. He also joked that he would demand a drug test before the debate.<\/p>\n<p>In previous statements, the Biden campaign has denied the president uses any drugs. In an April <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/saradorn\/2024\/04\/04\/trump-suggests-without-evidence-biden-was-higher-than-a-kite-during-state-of-the-union-calls-for-pre-debate-drug-test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"statement\">statement<\/a> to <em>Forbes<\/em>, Biden campaign spokesman Ammar Moussa called Trump\u2019s accusations \u201ca bizarre outburst\u201d meant to distract from his policies.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
