Laken Riley\u2019s murderer was paroled because they had lack of capacity in El Paso. They let him out under the parole statute because they were full. There\u2019s nothing in the statute that says you can go because you\u2019re full, and he killed this lady.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Turning former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s seeking of presidential immunity for other crimes on its head, Graham suggested that it was better for Biden for presidential immunity to be affirmed by the high court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of these women who\u2019ve been raped and murdered have one thing in common \u2014 the people that killed them, raped them, and murdered them were in our custody and let go \u2014 I think, illegally so,\u201d he continued. \u201cJoe Biden better hope and pray there\u2019s presidential immunity, because when he allowed the killer of Laken Riley to be released on parole because lack of capacity, I think he\u2019s subject not only to lawsuit, but criminal prosecution if there\u2019s not presidential immunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Talks of presidential immunity have mainly been focused on Trump, with a decision from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/Supreme-Court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Supreme Court<\/a> about whether he is protected by presidential immunity for alleged crimes pending.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
