Both states had been assumed to go for Biden in the general election, but new efforts could put them both in reach of Trump. <\/p>\n<p>In the memo, the Trump campaign political director, James Blair, said these offices will open up \u201cat least 12 additional pathways to 270.\u201d Presidential candidates must <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cpd-co-founder-says-biden-campaign-urged-cnn-to-promise-rfk-jr-will-not-participate-in-debate\/\" title=\"CPD Co-Founder: Biden Team Pushed for RFK Jr Exclusion from Debate\">reach 270 electoral votes<\/a> to win. Minnesota boasts 10 electoral votes, and Virginia has 13.<\/p>\n<p>Recent reporting has Republicans seeing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3049279\/republicans-virginia-think-2024-turn-state-red\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>more and more hope<\/a> in Virginia \u2014 polling shows Trump cutting into President Joe Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3020694\/biden-trump-tied-virginia-roanoke-college-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lead<\/a> in the state.
