Anthony Pro-Life \u2062America. \u200bThis discussion occurred as the second anniversary of\u200d the\u200b Supreme Court&#8217;s Dobbs decision approaches, which effectively ended\u200c almost 50 years of legal abortion across the United \u2063States.<\/p>\n<p>One\u2064 of the women,\u200d Ashley, narrated how she and her husband, Dusty, \u200bwere\u2062 able to adopt a one-year-old boy named Jacob. Wade<\/em> saved their babies ahead of the second anniversary of the Supreme Court\u2019s ruling next week.<\/p>\n<p>The two mothers joined Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America for a video press call on Thursday ahead of June 24, the anniversary of the landmark Dobbs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/21pdf\/19-1392_6j37.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">decision<\/a>, which reversed nearly 50 years of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/i-was-an-abortionist-what-i-saw-turned-me-into-a-lifelong-pro-life-activist\/\" title=\"I Was An Abortionist. What I Saw Turned Me Into A Lifelong Pro-Life Activist\">legal abortion nationwide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One mother, Ashley, described how she and her husband, Dusty, struggled to have children but were able to adopt their one-year-old son, Jacob, after his birth mother decided against having an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Jacob\u2019s birth mother had attempted to obtain an abortion at a Planned Parenthood in Florida when she was six months pregnant, but the state\u2019s 15-week abortion ban prevented her from doing so, and she decided to continue her pregnancy, Ashley said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust three months later my husband and I received a call that we\u2019ll never forget. We were told a baby boy had just been born, and his mother had chosen us as his adoptive parents,\u201d Ashley said. \u201cMy husband and I are beyond grateful, thankful, and appreciative to Jacob\u2019s birth mother for her sacrificial decision and her courage in pursuing adoption.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithout the Supreme Court\u2019s decision, Florida\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/scotus-to-hear-appeal-over-ky-abortion-law\/\" title=\"SCOTUS to hear appeal over Ky. abortion law\">pro-life law<\/a>, and her willingness to choose life rather than pursue abortion elsewhere, our little family and our special almost two-year-old baby boy would not be alive today,\u201d she added. \u201cThis Dobbs anniversary marks two years of babies whose lives have been saved, with one of those being Jacob\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJacob not only has a big heart. He is also gentle and kind. He is full of innocence and purity. He loves Jesus, people, and anything trucks related,\u201d Dusty said.<\/p>\n<p>Another mother, Neesha, smiled as she described how Georgia\u2019s heartbeat law saved the life of her baby boy, whom she gave up for adoption after initially considering abortion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy baby is adopted, and he\u2019s thriving. I got a chance to see him. Last week was his one-year birthday,\u201d Neesha said. \u201cI got to choose the parents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never seen a baby so happy,\u201d she said. \u201cThey do everything I wish that I had the time to do. The way they love him and nurture him and care for him. They support him, they uplift him, they are encouraging to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Neesha added that she does not think adoption is discussed enough. The organizations that help moms are not promoted as much as abortion, she said. If she could do it over, she said, she would not have chosen a different path for her baby.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope the heartbeat law goes into effect across America because I think a lot of people do not understand the importance of carrying your child and making sure that baby has a life,\u201d Neesha said. \u201cWhether you\u2019re able to provide for the child or not it doesn\u2019t give you the right to terminate your pregnancy just because of your situation at the moment because situations can change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that there\u2019s help out there,\u201d she added. \u201cThere are genuine people who actually care about not just the baby but the mother as well, making sure that she is okay during pregnancy and follow up after.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1712932862202000&#038;usg=AOvVaw0plT8RRdMy9XUpIhocnjQS\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s women like you that make it possible for us,\u201d one-year-old Jacob\u2019s father Dusty told Neesha on the call.<\/p>\n<p>The Dobbs case dealt with a 2018 Mississippi law banning most abortions after 15 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch filed an appeal of the Fifth Circuit\u2019s decision that brought the case to the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s really hard to believe that it\u2019s been two years,\u201d Fitch said during Thursday\u2019s video call. \u201cTwo years since the court let loose its hold on this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pro-lifers-can-keep-winning-but-only-if-were-smart-and-steadfast\/\" title=\"Pro-Lifers Can Keep Winning But Only If We\u2019re Smart And Steadfast\">abortion policy-making<\/a> and gave it back to the people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis Mississippi Dobbs case was a victory for women and children across our country,\u201d Fitch said.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week, two women recounted how the reversal of Roe v.
