Timberlake was pulled over Tuesday and reportedly declined a Breathalyzer test, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>A post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, claims to show Justin Timberlake falling over during a field sobriety test recently in New York. The video shows a police officer attempting to place tape on the ground with another man as the latter falls after bending over. Timberlake\u2019s \u201cSexyBack\u201d plays over the video.<\/p>\n<p>The caption reads, \u201cJustin Timberlake\u2019s sobriety test.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The claim is inaccurate. The video appears to date back to<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zQkwXkPS5Co\">2006<\/a>. The video was uploaded on YouTube in 2009, but the footage shows a timestamp in the top of the screen. It was also reposted in 2016 showing the<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-D2U9HUuGtc\">Sky 2 logo in the top corner<\/a>.<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2024\/06\/20\/fact-check-fences-supreme-court-recent\/\"><strong>(RELATED: Is This Video Of Fences Around The Supreme Court Recent?)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zQkwXkPS5Co?si=7ojG_mKs2DozisYV\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Surveillance footage shows Timberlake driving just before he was<span>\u00a0<\/span>pulled over and the officer said Timberlake smelled of alcohol, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/justin-timberlake-photo-shows-driving-before-dwi-arrest-8665820\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">People<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/popculture\/news\/justin-timberlake-arrested-hamptons-new-york-rcna157691\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TODAY<\/a> reported Timberlake did perform a field sobriety test, but police say \u201che performed poorly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time misinformation has been shared online.
