The lawsuit claims that IBM has implemented a &#8220;diversity modifier&#8221; which links\u200d executive compensations\u200b to \u2062meeting \u200didentity-based\u200b quotas. Failure to \u2062meet these\u2063 quotas can result in penalties such as loss \u2062of bonuses and even termination.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit highlights the seriousness of employing \u2062such discriminatory policies, violating the Missouri Human Rights Act, which \u2063does not tolerate racist employment practices. Statements from IBM&#8217;s CEO Arvind Krishna, as allegedly \u2064revealed \u200bin a \u200bleaked video by journalist James O\u2019Keefe, suggest that IBM enforced these policies by incentivizing executives \u200cwith compensation tied to hiring increases in underrepresented groups. Former\u2063 CEO \u2063of IBM\u2019s subsidiary Red Hat, Paul Cormier, supported the\u200b existence \u2062of\u200d these DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policies, stating that they held\u2064 leaders \u2063accountable to \u200bthese standards to the point of termination if not met.<\/p>\n<p>The legal action by\u2062 Attorney General Bailey seeks to\u2062 address and halt these practices,\u200c asserting that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-president-trump-gives-pardons-to-73-individuals-and-commutes-another-70-sentences-steve-bannon-is-included\/\" title=\"BREAKING: President Trump Gives Pardons to 73 Individuals and Commutes Another 70 Sentences \u2013 Steve Bannon Is Included\">employment opportunities<\/a> should \u2064not be influenced by discriminatory policies based \u2062on gender or skin color.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Missouri\u2019s Attorney General Andrew Bailey <a href=\"https:\/\/ago.mo.gov\/attorney-general-bailey-files-suit-against-ibm-for-violating-the-missouri-human-rights-act\/\">filed<\/a> a lawsuit against technology giant International Business Machines (IBM), alleging that the company engaged in discriminatory hiring practices against white, Asian, and male applicants \u2013 even compelling employees to go along with discriminatory policies by tying compensation to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) metrics.<\/p>\n<p>Bailey told The Daily Wire that this is \u201ca lawsuit to end corporate racism at IBM,\u201d with the suit alleging that the corporation uses a \u201cdiversity modifier\u201d system that ties the compensation of its executives to their willingness to meet various identity-based quotas that discriminate against white, Asian, and male job candidates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut if he or she fails to meet it, IBM swings the stick: they lose part of their bonus and, eventually, their job,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/ago.mo.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pet.-State-v.-IBM.docx.pdf\">lawsuit<\/a> says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not tolerate racist employment policies in the state of Missouri. Cormier explained that multiple leaders \u201cweren\u2019t willing to live up to the standards\u201d and were \u201cheld accountable\u201d to the point that they were no longer employed with the company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to hold, we are continuing to hold, and going to hold even more of our executives accountable for all of this and they will have metrics around this,\u201d Cormier added.<\/p>\n<p>Bailey\u2019s lawsuit said tying a \u201cquota system to bonus compensations\u201d is \u201ca cudgel against those who do not fall in line.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Attorney General went on to point out that IBM\u2019s \u201cdiscriminatory practices\u201d were not the result of stray mid-level managers, but a conscious initiative from the most powerful people at the company. \u201cWhat we have in IBM is a culture of racism from the top down. We\u2019re not talking about a mid-level bureaucrat. We\u2019re talking about the CEO of the entire company threatening his corporate executives with sanction if they don\u2019t abide by his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/san-francisco-officials-declare-acronyms-racist\/\" title=\"San Francisco Officials Declare Acronyms Racist\">racist policies<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1716990157394000&#038;usg=AOvVaw33qQydjIo8bet419amChif\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMissourians deserve answers as to why one of the largest technology and consulting companies in the world, with offices based in Missouri, is discriminating against both prospective and current employees,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/ibm-hosts-internships-that-bar-whites-asians-and-men-with-exception-for-men-who-identify-as-women\">previously revealed<\/a> that the tech giant was engaged in anti-white, anti-Asian, and anti-male discrimination, hosting an internship opportunity that was only open to those of certain backgrounds. An internship for \u201cunderrepresented minorities\u201d listed off the approved racial and ethnic backgrounds, explaining that applicants had to be \u201cAfrican American, Hispanic, or Indigenous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another IBM internship, called the \u201cInternship for Undergraduate Women,\u201d stipulated that \u201capplicants must be female, including all students who present or identify as women and\/or trans women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>David Bernstein, a professor at George Mason University\u2019s Antonin Scalia School of Law, told The Daily Wire that these internship programs \u201cclearly violate Title VII,\u201d which bars race and sex-based employment preferences.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey sued IBM, accusing it of discriminatory hiring against white, Asian, and male candidates.
