The Fox News poll highlights a significant shift among older voters\u2014a demographic \u200dthat largely\u200d supported Trump in the 2020\u2064 election.\u2063 Previously, voters aged 65 and older favored Trump by a small margin, but the latest survey indicates a move towards Biden, with a 57% to 42%\u2063 split. Voters aged 65 and older went for Trump 51%-48% in the 2020 election, according to AP Votecast, but those voters look to be shifting away from the former president.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden campaign has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3000752\/biden-campaign-steps-up-efforts-to-convince-older-voters-to-abandon-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"courted\">courted<\/a> older voters as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/80-year-old-biden-once-criticized-63-year-old-opponent-as-too-old-for-office\/\" title=\"80-Year-Old Biden Once Criticized 63-Year-Old Opponent as Too Old for Office\">president faces concerns<\/a> over his age and mental acuity and has been able to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3048008\/biden-group-less-worried-age\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"peel off\">peel off<\/a> support from them, according to other polls, alongside Wednesday\u2019s Fox News survey.<\/p>\n<p>The poll is a step in the right direction for Biden, who has trailed Trump in most recent national and battleground state surveys, but the lead in the Fox News poll still falls within the margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points and is still behind the 4.5-point margin Biden won by nationally in 2020. Another warning sign for the president is his polling with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gop-leader-kevin-mccarthy-says-texas-will-play-major-role-in-winning-house-majority\/\" title=\"GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy Says Texas Will Play Major Role in Winning House Majority\">key minority groups<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-virtue-signaling-corporations-trying-to-prove-their-wokeness\/\" title=\"5 Virtue Signaling Corporations Trying To Prove Their \u2018Wokeness\u2019\">survey shows<\/a> Biden leading Trump with Hispanic voters 53%-43%, while in 2020, Biden won the group 63%-35%, and the poll shows Biden leading with black voters 73%-27%, compared to a 91%-8% win in 2020. In 2020, Biden won independent voters 52%-38%.<\/p>\n<p>The election is just over four months away, and Biden and Trump are slated to face off in their first debate next Thursday on CNN.
