Roger Marshall Sells &#8216;Moron&#8217; T-Shirts of Fauci After He Insulted the Senator During a Hearing&#8221;>selling shirts<\/a>\u2062 with messages asserting Juneteenth as the &#8220;true independence \u2064day,&#8221; highlighting that\u200d the ancestors of African Americans were\u200c not free on July 4, 1776. One design featured the date &#8220;July 4&#8221; crossed out, with\u200d text commemorating Juneteenth 1865. These \u200cdesigns also included the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/we-shouldnt-let-the-blues-clues-episode-be-just-another-passing-cultural-outrage\/\" title=\"We Shouldn\u2019t Let the Blue\u2019s Clues Episode Be Just Another Passing Cultural Outrage\">black power fist<\/a> symbol. After \u2063media\u200c inquiries, a spokesman\u200d from \u2063Tyson stated that the company had been unaware\u2064 of these t-shirt designs, \u2064which had \u2062been proposed \u200bby a\u200b team member. Consequently, Tyson&#8217;s Virginia office canceled the shirt sale and \u2062issued refunds to those who had purchased them.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Tyson Foods, the U.S.-based meat supplier that\u2019s grown to be one of the world\u2019s largest companies, offered shirts to employees for its annual Juneteenth celebrations that literally cross out \u201cJuly 4\u201d as the nation\u2019s Independence Day.<\/p>\n<p>Emails obtained by The Daily Wire show the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/chicken-giant-tyson-sells-employees-juneteenth-shirts-that-strike-out-july-4-as-independence-day\/\" title=\"Tyson Sells Juneteenth Shirts to Employees, Crossing Out 'July 4' as Independence Day\">poultry industry giant selling shirts<\/a> for its annual Juneteenth celebration that say the holiday, marking the day in 1865 that African Americans in Texas learned that slavery had been abolished in the United States, is the nation\u2019s true independence day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJuneteenth is my Independence Day,\u201d reads one shirt offered, while another, under a crossed out July 4 date, states, \u201cJuneteenth 1865 because my ancestors weren\u2019t free in 1776.\u201d Many of the shirts also incorporate the black power fist.<\/p>\n<p>After The Daily Wire inquired about the shirts offered for the celebration, a source inside Tyson Foods says their Virginia office was ordered to cancel the sale and refund any employee who purchased a shirt. Days later, a spokesman for Tyson said it was \u201cunaware of the t-shirt designs.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"image\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cTyson Foods was unaware of the t-shirt designs proposed by a team member,\u201d the spokesman said. \u201cUpon review, it was determined that the t-shirts do not meet the company\u2019s dress code policy, and they will not be sold or distributed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is unclear how the shirts violate the dress code policy. The company did not respond to follow-up questions.<\/p>\n<p>The Arkansas-based corporation has faced criticism for years for embracing far-left politics. It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/tyson-foods-hiring-illegal-migrants-in-new-york-wants-more-theyre-very-very-loyal\">openly declared<\/a> earlier this year that it wanted to hire as many illegal migrants as it could, even as it shut down a plant that employed over 1,000 people in Iowa, stating that illegal workers were \u201cvery, very loyal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-linked-legislative-group-has-partnered-for-years-with-a-chinese-propaganda-front\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden-Linked Legislative Group Has Partnered for Years With a Chinese Propaganda Front\">website features<\/a> a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tysonfoods.com\/who-we-are\/our-people\/inclusion-diversity\">Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion<\/a>\u201d tab that highlights the existence of multiple internal identity groups, including ones for \u201cLatinx\u201d employees and another \u201cPride\u201d group.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_752949\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-752949\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Screenshot of Tyson Foods website<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Numerous employees complained internally about the shirts offered for Juneteenth, which was made a national holiday by President Joe Biden in 2021. The shirts, according to the order form supplied to employees, were set to be created by a local vendor called Make It Happen Customz LLC.<\/p>\n<p>The holiday, long celebrated locally in Texas, garnered nationwide attention as Black Lives Matter staged protests across the country in 2020 that were embraced by corporate America. Liberal commentators argued in 2020 that July 4 shouldn\u2019t be celebrated because black Americans weren\u2019t independent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJuneteenth \u2014 not the Fourth of July \u2014 was the real Independence Day,\u201d wrote one author, further arguing that \u201cit is difficult to take pride in being American\u201d on July 4 because of the \u201cintolerance and oppression\u201d still present in society.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tyson Foods, a major U.S. meat supplier, sparked controversy by offering shirts for its Juneteenth celebration that crossed out &#8220;July 4&#8221; as the nation&#8217;s Independence Day.
