The ad,\u2064 debated for \u200bcontent regarded as\u200c controversial for its stance on \u2064gender in sports, resulted \u200bin the \u200cban. Highway 1 collapses following torrential rainstorm\">ad standing<\/a> up for women and girls\u2019 sports, you get banned for life from @tiktok_us. Here\u2019s the ad. Offensive, right?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you think girls\u2019 and women\u2019s equality matter, stand up,\u201d the ad begins. \u201cIf you think girls\u2019 and women\u2019s sports matter, and you want your daughters to have the same opportunity you had, stand up. If you know that it isn\u2019t fair \u2014 or safe \u2014 to allow males to compete in girls sports because it\u2019s, well, obvious, stand up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t be cowed by people who call you a bigot. You\u2019re not a bigot,\u201d it continues. \u201cDon\u2019t let men tell us how to be \u2018good\u2019 girls. Don\u2019t let others tell you you just need to be quiet, sit down, be nice. It\u2019s not nice to further a lie. It\u2019s not mean to believe in women\u2019s equality. We deserve our own sports, privacy, fairness, safety. We deserve a chance to compete, and win. So don\u2019t be nice. Don\u2019t be careful. Be honest, be brave, fight for women. We\u2019ve come too far to give up now.
