Echard denied the allegations, and the court ruled in his favor, finding Owens had presented false claims and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jj-secures-dismissal-of-whistleblower-case-over-misuse-of-confidential-info\/\" title=\"J&#038;J wins whistleblower case on confidential info misuse.\">violated court orders<\/a>. Echard expressed relief at the outcome and hopes to prevent such incidents\u200d from occurring to others in the\u200c future. He pointed\u2063 out that he was the\u2063 fourth\u2064 known victim of\u2062 such accusations by Owens, emphasizing the \u2064need for \u200daccountability. The\u200b court criticized Owens&#8217; actions as baseless and lacking merit, highlighting the absence of conclusive evidence such as ultrasound or sonogram to substantiate her \u200dclaims.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Former \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/the-bachelor\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bachelor<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d star Clayton Echard is discussing his feelings about winning a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/lawsuit\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">paternity case<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  brought about by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/final-victim-of-maui-fires-identified-six-months-later\/\" title=\"Maui fire's last victim identified after six months\">previously unidentified woman<\/a>, who is now known to be Laura Owens. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Owens claimed the 31-year-old reality star fathered her twins during a one-night stand, which he denied. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAt the end of the day, I don\u2019t want her to do this ever again to anybody else\u2026 I think she\u2019s shown no signs of stopping,\u201d Echard told <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/former-bachelor-clayton-echard-speaks-out-after-winning-paternity-case-exclusive-8665799\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">People<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cI mean, I was victim number four that we know of, and so we felt that especially when somebody commits a crime, they should have to face legal repercussions for doing so.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAccountability needs to be had,\u201d he said. \u201cIt felt odd that this has been going on for a year and just now it\u2019s I guess ended. It was very exciting though, and I was excited to go talk to the other victims and let them know as well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Court documents obtained by the outlet confirmed that Arizona Judge Julia Ann Mata found Owens \u201cknowingly presented a false claim, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/16-year-police-vet-leaving-co-for-palm-trees-and-less-communism-after-state-crackdown-on-policing\/\" title=\"16-Year Police Vet Leaving CO For \u2018Palm Trees And Less Communism\u2019 After State Crackdown On Policing\">knowingly violated<\/a> a court order compelling disclosure or discovery.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201c[Owens] acted unreasonably when she initiated litigation without basis or merit,\u201d the documents continued. \u201cWithout an authentic ultrasound, sonogram, physical examination, and in conjunction with a belief she passed tissue in July 2023, the Court finds the underlying Petition premature at best. At worst, however, fraudulent and made to incite communication, a relationship, or both, with the [Echard].\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Owens had been accused of similar behavior in the past. The plaintiff further claimed Echard was refusing to take a paternity test. The reality star shared photos of receipts last year which appeared to indicate he had taken the test. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Echard noted that he had the support of his family throughout the process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI mean, in a weird way, this has been the last year of my life \u2014 and not that I wanted to ever go through this \u2014 but it almost became a part of my identity for all the wrong reasons and not what I ever wanted it to be.
