According to the lawsuit, Pfizer\u2063 failed to disclose serious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/vaccine-maker-biontech-looking-into-reports-of-heart-inflammation\/\" title=\"Vaccine maker BioNTech looking into reports of heart inflammation\">potential side effects<\/a> such as heart issues, failed pregnancies, \u2063and sudden deaths. Furthermore, the lawsuit alleges that Pfizer knew \u2064the vaccine was ineffective at preventing COVID-19 transmission but withheld this information. Pfizer also noted that it follows rigorous safety and monitoring protocols, deeming the\u200d lawsuit without merit.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<header> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/news\/\">  News <\/a>  <\/p>\n<h2>State Attorney General Makes Major COVID Vaccine Allegations Against Pfizer in New Lawsuit<\/h2>\n<p> <span> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/johnathanjones\/\">  <\/a> <\/p>\n<p> <span>   By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/johnathanjones\/%20\"><span>Johnathan Jones<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   June 18, 2024 at 8:47am <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach is suing Pfizer for allegedly violating his state\u2019s Consumer Protection Act, arguing the drug maker \u201cmisled the public\u201d about the safety of its COVID vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>The civil suit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=3699114&#038;action=edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was filed<\/a> on Monday, alleging that Pfizer hid adverse side effects from the shots, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/multistate-coalition-rises-biden-atfs-attempt-halt-firearm-sales-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kobach\u2019s<\/a> suit said included heart issues and sudden death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPfizer said its COVID-19 vaccine was safe even though it knew its COVID-19 vaccine was connected to serious adverse events, including myocarditis and pericarditis, failed pregnancies, and deaths. Pfizer concealed this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/foreign-electric-vehicle-manufacturer-recalls-entire-first-batch-of-cars-shipped-to-us-over-serious-safety-issue\/\" title=\"Foreign EV maker recalls entire first batch of cars shipped to US due to safety issue.\">critical safety information<\/a> from the public,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/ag.ks.gov\/docs\/default-source\/documents\/2024-06-15-pfizer-complaint-(002).pdfc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the lawsuit<\/a> argued.<\/p>\n<p>The suit further alleged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/moderna-pfizer-talks-new-bird-flu-vaccine-2024-election-nears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the company<\/a> knew its vaccines were not only unsafe, but ineffective.<\/p>\n<p>Kobach said that armed with information the vaccine did not work as advertised, Pfizer \u201cconcealed this critical effectiveness information from the public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPfizer misled Kansans about the effect of the COVID-19 vaccine on transmission of COVID-19,\u201d Kobach claimed.<\/p>\n<p>The suit also argued Pfizer went to great lengths to hide information that might have damaged trust in the company\u2019s vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo keep the public from learning the truth, Pfizer worked to censor speech on social media that questioned Pfizer\u2019s claims about its COVID-19 vaccine\u201d the suit argued.<\/p>\n<p>Kobach\u2019s 179-page filing said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pfizer-settles-10000-cancer-lawsuits-bid-reduce-potential-liability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the drug maker<\/a> was motivated to push its vaccine on the public by any means available because it stood to cash in.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you agree with Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThanks to Pfizer\u2019s COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer more than doubled its profits from 2020 to 2021, reporting $22 billion in total profits in 2021,\u201d the lawsuit said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPfizer must be held accountable for falsely representing the benefits of its COVID-19 vaccine while concealing and suppressing the truth about its vaccine\u2019s safety risks, waning effectiveness, and inability to prevent transmission,\u201d Kobach concluded.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kansas-city-doxes-christian-nfl-player-controversial-speech-ag-demands-accountability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">his state<\/a>, he is seeking \u201ccivil monetary penalties, damages, and injunctive relief from misleading and deceptive statements made in marketing its COVID-19 vaccine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to <a href=\"https:\/\/fox4kc.com\/news\/kansas-attorney-general-sues-pfizer-over-covid-vaccine-company-responds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KSNT-TV<\/a> in Topeka, Pfizer stood by its vaccine and dismissed the civil suit as frivolous.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to have developed the COVID-19 vaccine in record time in the midst of a global pandemic and saved countless lives,\u201d Pfizer said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe representations made by Pfizer about its COVID-19 vaccine have been accurate and science-based,\u201d the pharmaceutical giant continued. \u201cThe Company believes that the state\u2019s case has no merit and will respond to the suit in due course.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-jets-qb-aaron-rodgers-takes-shot-nfl-pfizer-connection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pfizer<\/a> concluded:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPfizer is deeply committed to the well-being of the patients it serves and has no higher priority than ensuring the safety and effectiveness of its treatments and vaccines.
