The National Republican Senatorial but \u2064Committee heightened the tension by issuing a\u2064 &#8220;BOMBSHELL&#8221;\u200b notification and \u200csharing a video highlighting Sen. \u2062Tester, a third<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tim-sheehy-wins-montana-gop-race-in-quest-to-beat-tester-and-retake-senate\/\" title=\"Tim Sheehy emerges victorious in Montana GOP race to challenge Tester and reclaim Senate seat\">-generation dirt farmer<\/a>, driving a hybrid vehicle in Washington, D.C. This dispute has put Tester, already considered one of the Senate&#8217;s most vulnerable Democrats, \u200cin the \u200cspotlight.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_79\">\n<p>A Toyota Prius is at the center of a feud between one of the Senate\u2019s most vulnerable Democrats and the campaign arm of Senate Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/nrsc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"National Republican Senatorial Committee\">National Republican Senatorial Committee<\/a> sent out a \u201cBOMBSHELL\u201d alert upon learning that Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/jon-tester\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Jon Tester\">Jon Tester<\/a> (D-MT), a third-generation dirt farmer, drives the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/electric-vehicles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"hybrid vehicle\">hybrid vehicle<\/a> when in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p>The organization also <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MikeKBerg\/status\/1802708350041288836\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>posted a video<\/a> of Tester leaving the Capitol in the red Prius, which he\u2019s driven for the past several years.<\/p>\n<p>The third-term senator, who will face Tim Sheehy, former Navy SEAL and Republican nominee, this November in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/south-carolina-to-become-latest-state-to-pass-heartbeat-bill\/\" title=\"South Carolina to Become Latest State to Pass Heartbeat Bill\">deep-red state<\/a> of Montana, fired back at the NRSC for being \u201ca bunch of jackasses\u201d and rattled off to reporters a list of gas-guzzlers he owns back Montana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have a Prius that I drive around this town. You want to know what I drive in Montana?\u201d Tester said at the Capitol. \u201cI\u2019ve got an \u201886 Chevy. I got a 2018 GMC. I got a 2018 Honda Ridgeline. I\u2019ve got a Celica. I\u2019ve got a Peterbilt. I\u2019ve got a \u201867 International Truck. I\u2019ve got a \u201896 International Truck. I\u2019ve got a \u201878 GMC truck.
