Both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.givesendgo.com\/texas_whistleblower\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Haim<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/article\/doj-indicts-doctor-who-exposed-the-barbarism-of-gender-affirming-care\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rufo<\/a> maintain that the information Haim passed along contained redactions that kept minor patients\u2019 information secret.<\/p>\n<p>The four-count <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-sdtx\/pr\/doctor-charged-unauthorized-access-personal-information-pediatric-patients-texas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">indictment<\/a>, unsealed by the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office in the Southern District of Texas on Monday, however, alleges Haim obtained \u201cprotected individual health information for patients that were not under his care and without authorization\u201d by requesting to \u201cre-activate his login access at TCH to access pediatric patients not under his care\u201d shortly before the article debuted. <\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors led by U.S. Attorney Tina Ansari, who has already been accused of <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/chiproytx\/status\/1750237019626750291\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a long list of misconduct<\/a> in the investigation, claim Haim acted \u201cunder false pretenses and with intent to cause malicious harm to TCH.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hhs.gov\/hipaa\/for-professionals\/privacy\/laws-regulations\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HIPPA Privacy Rule<\/a> prosecutors will invoke in their case against Haim states that \u201ccovered entities\u201d are allowed to disclose seemingly protected health information as long as \u201cthey believe [it] is necessary to prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to a person or the public, when such disclosure is made to someone they believe can prevent or lessen the threat (including the target of the threat).\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-cf86e855e215483d111c7e1dc81d674b fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-cf86e855e215483d111c7e1dc81d674b\"><\/div>\n<p>According to Haim, the threat posed by medical professionals who swore to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.harvard.edu\/blog\/first-do-no-harm-201510138421\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cdo no harm\u201d<\/a> but continued to subject children to dangerous gender experiments was serious and imminent enough to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/glennbeck\/status\/1802818142286017018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">risk his livelihood for it.<\/a> He also believes the Biden administration\u2019s sudden show of interest in an expos\u00e9 from last year at the same time it continues to weaponize itself against its ideological enemies is <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/06\/07\/indictment-of-texas-doctor-who-exposed-kids-transing-proves-no-one-is-safe-from-bidens-weaponized-doj\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">no coincidence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe the reason they are doing this is clear.
