Set to be\u2064 announced \u200don a forthcoming Tuesday, this initiative will allow these immigrants to apply for residency and eventually citizenship without having to\u200c leave the U.S., which \u200csimplifies the current\u200d procedure that \u2063mandates departure\u200c and\u200c re-application from\u200c outside the country. The program also \u200cincludes approximately 50,000 stepchildren of U.S. citizens, provided they are under 21 years old. The primary \u2062beneficiaries are expected to be immigrants from \u2062Mexico. He is reportedly issuing a unilateral executive action\u2014without approval from Congress\u2014granting mass amnesty w\/path to citizenship to large number of illegal aliens. Stepchildren covered under the program must be under 21.<\/p>\n<p>The administration said illegal immigrants from Mexico are expected to be the major beneficiaries of the program, which gives the eligible three years to apply for residency, the Post reported. After that, they can apply to be citizens in three years, which cuts the time from the usual five-year period.<\/p>\n<p>The White House released a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2024\/06\/18\/fact-sheet-president-biden-announces-new-actions-to-keep-families-together\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fact Sheet<\/a>\u201d about its plan early Tuesday, describing it as \u201cKeeping Families Together.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Is Biden a worse president than Obama?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/06\/17\/us\/politics\/biden-immigration-spouses.html?smid=tw-nytimes&#038;smtyp=cur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a> noted the program has a political benefit for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-jimmy-kimmel-devastated-see-latest-trump-vs-biden-polling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a>, who trails former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, in numerous election polls.<\/p>\n<p>It said the new program could \u201chelp Mr. Biden in battleground states, like Nevada, Arizona and Georgia, each of which has more than 100,000 voters who live in \u2018mixed status\u2019 households, according to the American Business Immigration Coalition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden will celebrate his new policy at a ceremony Tuesday afternoon that highlights the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program created by former President Barack Obama, which courts have since found was an illegal end run of Congress, according to the Post.<\/p>\n<p>The Post also noted that Biden will announce a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-bidens-budget-asks-for-extra-12-billion-to-welcome-more-migrants\/\" title=\"Joe Biden's Budget Asks for Extra  Billion to Welcome More Migrants\">work-visa program<\/a> for DACA enrollees who are working in the science and technology fields.<\/p>\n<p>The DACA-linked program, however, will require applicants to leave the country to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Even before the announcement, the America First Policy Institute denounced it, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/1m-illegal-immigrants-could-given-amnesty-biden-faces-pressure-from-left-wing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile these so-called mixed-status families may elicit sympathies, our immigration laws have a process for illegal alien spouses of U.S. citizens to follow to absolve their violations \u2014 a process the Biden Administration is ignoring to ease the burden on illegal aliens,\u201d AFPI\u2019s Robert Law said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis parole scheme could also be a starting point to \u2018parole in place\u2019 even larger, less sympathetic classes of illegal aliens, which would frustrate efforts by a future America First administration to enforce U.S. immigration law and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-kobach-bidens-immigration-policy-may-soon-get-much-worse\/\" title=\"Exclusive--Kobach: Biden\u2019s Immigration Policy May Soon Get Much Worse\">remove illegal aliens<\/a> from the country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In a post on <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/112632701426261593\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Truth Social<\/a>, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-pledges-arizona-crowd-rescind-bidens-weak-border-executive-order-day-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">condemned<\/a> the plan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden is preparing to give MASS AMNESTY to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens!\u201d the former president said. \u201cThis is unsustainable and can\u2019t be allowed to continue!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn day one, we will SHUT DOWN THE BORDER and start deporting millions of Biden\u2019s Illegal Criminals.
