Enten&#8217;s discussion suggests\u2062 a \u200bpotentially transformative shift in future party politics,\u2062 indicating a \u200dprofound realignment might be\u2064 underway, particularly if these polling\u200c trends hold true up to the election.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<header> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/commentary\/\">  Commentary <\/a>   <span> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/michael-schwarz\/\">  <\/a> <\/p>\n<p> <span>   By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/michael-schwarz\/%20\"><span>Michael Schwarz<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   June 17, 2024 at 3:44pm <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>At least one member of the establishment media has come to a breathtaking realization: Namely, young, black Americans appear poised to save their country by voting for former President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Monday on \u201cCNN News Central\u201d with co-host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/profiles\/john-berman-profile\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John Berman<\/a>, CNN Senior Political Data Reporter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/profiles\/harry-enten\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harry Enten<\/a> repeatedly used dramatic-sounding language to describe his astonishment at what <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sunny-hostin-accuses-desantis-and-haley-of-intellectual-dishonesty-in-gop-primary-bid\/\" title=\"Sunny Hostin calls out DeSantis and Haley for 'dishonesty' in GOP primary run\">polling data revealed<\/a> about the decisive advantage young, black voters could give Trump over President Joe Biden in the 2024 election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve just never seen anything like this,\u201d an animated Enten said in a clip posted to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">social media platform<\/a> X. \u201cI\u2019m, like, speechless.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The segment began with Berman asking Enten about the state of the presidential race among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/months-admitting-maybe-trump-answer-top-rapper-says-black-community-now-identifying-45\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">black voters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, I keep looking for this to change, to go back to a historical norm. And it, simply put, has not yet,\u201d Enten replied.<\/p>\n<p>The screen behind Enten then showed a comparison between polls among black voters in 2020 and 2024. At this point four years ago, black voters preferred <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/desperate-biden-says-trump-wouldnt-pardon-black-americans-insane-jan-6-rant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> by a margin of 79 percentage points, 86-7. Today, Biden\u2019s overall lead among black voters has shrunk to 49 points at 70-21.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not just that Joe Biden is losing ground,\u201d Enten said. \u201cIt\u2019s that Donald Trump is gaining ground.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Enten said, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/spite-vote-uncovering-trump-haters-vote-best-interests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> looks to be \u201ccareening towards a historic performance for a Republican presidential candidate, the likes of which we have not seen in six decades.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Biden\u2019s diminishing overall support among black voters did not provide the segment\u2019s biggest headline. For that, Enten took a deeper dive into the numbers.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Will Trump win in November?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThis is where we get very interesting,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-told-obama-hes-running-again-report\/\" title=\"Biden Told Obama He\u2019s Running Again: REPORT\">data reporter<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p>Again, the screen behind Enten showed a comparison of 2020 and 2024 polling data among black Americans. This time, however, it showed a breakdown by age.<\/p>\n<p>Among black Americans age 50 and older, Biden\u2019s lead over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/army-thousands-forms-help-trump-stands-ready-rnc-deploy-major-election-strategy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> at this point in 2020 stood at a whopping 83 points. Today, it stands at 74 points. That represents a loss, of course, but not a debilitating one \u2014 and certainly not a historic one.<\/p>\n<p>Among black Americans under 50, however, Biden\u2019s 80-point advantage from 2020 has shrunk to only 37 points.<\/p>\n<p>The excitable Enten could barely find the words to describe those numbers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHoly cow, folks. Holy cow,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, those numbers could signal a sudden and dramatic shift that might change party politics for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf this polling is anywhere near correct,\u201d Enten said, \u201cwe are looking at a historic moment right now where black voters under the age of 50, which have historically been such a big part of the Democratic coalition, are leaving it in droves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Enten expressed even more astonishment at the impact of independent candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rfk-jr-sends-democrats-warning-trump-verdict-conviction-going-backfire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Robert F. Kennedy Jr<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In short, with Kennedy in the mix, Biden\u2019s support among black voters in the projected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trumps-good-news-deep-blue-new-england-state-creates-9-swing-states-now-play-polls-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">swing states<\/a> of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin \u00a0plummeted to 49 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook at what Joe Biden drops to,\u201d Enten said, his voice cracking from disbelief as he underlined the 49 percent figure.<\/p>\n<p>Again, the CNN data reporter underscored the historic nature of those polling numbers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI never thought I would see something like this among black voters,\u201d Enten said.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u2018I\u2019m Like Speechless\u2019: CNN\u2019s Harry Enten Says Trump \u2018Careening Towards A Historic Performance\u2019 With Black Voters <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aEKh3WPIDG\">pic.twitter.com\/aEKh3WPIDG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DailyCaller\/status\/1802681129926795735?\">June 17, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Enten presents polling data the way some NFL television analysts describe a big play. In short, he appears to love numbers and gets excited about them, as he did recently when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/goodness-gracious-cnn-data-analyst-stunned-hispanic-voter-shift-appears-helping-trump-2-key-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">explaining to viewers<\/a> that Trump had made massive gains among Hispanic voters, as well.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, CNN\u2019s liberal audience undoubtedly recognized Enten\u2019s polling data as cause for excited consternation.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, when Enten described young, black voters as \u201cleaving\u201d the Democratic coalition \u201cin droves,\u201d one could almost hear the heads exploding at the White House, the Democratic National Committee and the rest of the establishment media.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p><b><i>An Important Message from Our Staff:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span>In just a few months, the world is going to change forever.
