There \u2062is speculation about when and how the show will\u2062 conclude, especially concerning Costner&#8217;s involvement. Additionally, \u200b&#8221;Yellowstone&#8221; \u200drecently resumed production and is set to air on Paramount Network in November, but details \u2062regarding Costner&#8217;s\u200b character remain uncertain.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<header> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/news\/\">  News <\/a>   <span> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/johnathanjones\/\">  <\/a> <\/p>\n<p> <span>   By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/author\/johnathanjones\/%20\"><span>Johnathan Jones<\/span><\/a> <\/span> <span>   June 17, 2024 at 12:16pm <\/span> <\/span>  <\/header>\n<section>\n<p>Hollywood star Kevin Costner discussed his potential return for the final episodes of the smash Western hit \u201cYellowstone\u201d on ABC\u2019s \u201cThe View\u201d on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>After two years of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hit-series-popular-among-conservatives-set-end-current-season-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports of tensions<\/a> between the star and the show\u2019s creator, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-yellowstone-creator-taylor-sheridan-major-bone-pick-absurd-vegans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taylor Sheridan<\/a>, fans have more or less been left guessing when the drama would return for its swan song.<\/p>\n<p>Costner had not ruled out a return to the show, but he has been busy with his forthcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/costner-reveals-new-4-film-western-epic-thrilling-trailer-will-write-direct-star-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">four-part Western<\/a> film saga \u201cHorizon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While talking to the ladies of \u201cThe View\u201d on Monday, the actor said he broadly approaches life and his career with a mindset to aggressively pursue what he wants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything has to come to a point where it makes sense in your life, and when it does, you seize it \u2014 at least that\u2019s the way I have been,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding \u201cHorizon,\u201d which he said he had been trying to make since 1988 but no one would produce, he said he went forward with it on his own.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t fall out of love with things,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kevin-costner-signs-deal-fox-successful-run-yellowstone-150-docuseries-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Costner<\/a> said before he commented on potentially giving the role of John Dutton one last shot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy hope is that \u2018Yellowstone,\u2019 there is a way to circle back to it,\u201d he said. \u201cBut I\u2019ll know that the moment it\u2019s right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RAoOjGBsvmw?si=StPa44Olam4bDzuI&#038;start=619\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Costner also spoke about the show on NBC\u2019s \u201cToday\u201d earlier on Monday during an interview with host Savannah Guthrie. (The discussion begins around the 6:45 mark in the video below.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho loves it more than myself and Taylor,\u201d he said of himself and Sheridan.<\/p>\n<p>However, Costner said he could only return to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/police-department-releases-statement-young-yellowstone-spinoff-actor-found-dead-none-us-imagined\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the show<\/a> if the situation was right for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve supported [\u2018Yellowstone\u2019] and I have loved it,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s been really important to me.
