The site, Real Raw \u2064News, is known for creating satirical content and their &#8220;About Us&#8221; page\u2063 suggests the content is meant for entertainment and \u2063not to be taken\u2063 as factual. Additionally, related false claims about other jurors \u2062being arrested\u2063 had already been debunked. The supposed arrest was claimed to have taken place at Republic Executive\u2062 Airport in\u200c New York, with the juror allegedly carrying a large sum \u200bof \u2064money, but these details are all part of the fabricated story.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"ob-read-more-selector\">\n<p>A post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DEPLORABLE555\/posts\/pfbid0345vPEh9NVNzh4hhi9365SX2aer23NEK6uLigwZiMXCPavWNEZG8TE4LjPFMzyMjl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">shared on Facebook<\/a> claims a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donations-of-jurors-and-judges-family-ties-at-durham-sussmann-trial-highlight-dcs-liberal-leanings\/\" title=\"Donations of Jurors and Judge\u2019s Family Ties at Durham-Sussmann Trial Highlight DC\u2019s Liberal Leanings\">fourth juror<\/a> who served on 2024 presumptive Republican nominee and former President Donald Trump\u2019s recent hush money payments trial was purportedly arrested by the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General\u2019s (JAG) Corps.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Verdict: False<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The claim is false and originally stems from a June 9 article published on the satire site \u201cReal Raw News.\u201d A spokesperson for the U.S. Navy JAG Corps denied the claim\u2019s validity in an email to Check Your Fact.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Trump turned 78 years old on June 14, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/06\/14\/politics\/donald-trump-birthday\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNN<\/a>. The former Republican President met with House and Senate Republicans on Capitol Hill to discuss multiple topics, including border security, the day before his birthday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/trump-meeting-republicans-first-visit-capitol-hill-jan-6-rcna156779\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NBC News<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook post claims a fourth juror who served on Trump\u2019s recent hush money payments trial was purportedly arrested by the U.S. Navy JAG Corps. The juror is accused of \u201cdishonestly\u201d finding Trump guilty in the case, according to the same post.<\/p>\n<p>The claim is false and originally stems from a <a href=\"https:\/\/realrawnews.com\/2024\/06\/fourth-charlatan-juror-arrested-by-jag-on-long-island\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">June 9 article<\/a> published on the satire site \u201cReal Raw News.\u201d A \u201cDisclaimer\u201d included on the site\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/realrawnews.com\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">About Us<\/a>\u201d page indicates its content is not meant to be taken literally. \u201cInformation on this website is for informational and educational and entertainment purposes. This website contains humor, parody, and satire. We have included this Disclaimer for our protection, on the advice [of] legal counsel,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/psychiatrist-says-she-does-not-regret-telling-yale-students-about-fantasy-of-killing-white-people-claims-her-words-were-taken-out-of-context\/\" title=\"Psychiatrist Says She Does Not Regret Telling Yale Students About Fantasy Of Killing White People, Claims Her Words Were Taken \u2018Out Of Context\u2019\">disclaimer reads<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the June 9 article, U.S. Navy JAG Corps investigators apprehended the male juror in the parking lot at Republic Executive Airport in Farmingdale, New York ahead of a planned flight to Las Vegas. The juror also supposedly told investigators a duffel bag containing $1.75 million was in the trunk of his car at the time.
