likely based on \u2014 surprise, surprise \u2014 more fake news.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Donald Trump met with a group of Republicans from the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">mainstream media<\/a> had one takeaway from the day that sent them to breathlessly proclaim that the former president viciously attacked the very town that the GOP has chosen for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/firm-linked-to-joe-biden-scrubs-website-of-all-china-related-business\/\" title=\"Firm Linked To Joe Biden Scrubs Website Of All China Related Business\">national convention<\/a> this year.<\/p>\n<p>Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is set to serve as the stage for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/barron-trump-set-jump-politics-republican-national-convention-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Republican National Convention<\/a> in July, and will be the place where Trump will likely be elevated as the GOP nominee for president.<\/p>\n<p>But, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/newsmax-anchor-digs-mainstream-medias-unified-reich-trump-claim-discovers-ridiculous-hoax\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hoax-loving<\/a> media, as the presumptive nominee, Donald Trump threw a dig Milwaukee and called the city \u201chorrible\u201d during his June 13 meetings with Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>The media loved the story.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/06\/13\/trump-calls-milwaukee-a-horrible-city-ahead-of-republican-convention.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNBC<\/a> headline blared, \u201cTrump allies scramble to explain after he calls Republican National Convention host Milwaukee a \u2018horrible\u2019 city.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/06\/14\/politics\/trump-milwaukee-horrible-democrats\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> actually pulled out the \u201cDemocrats pounce\u201d line, writing, \u201cDemocrats pounce on Trump calling Milwaukee \u2018horrible.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-milwaukee-horrible-city-gop-convention-niomination-604fe33acb5606e9db1cbf3f966507e3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Associated Press<\/a> dinged Trump with a headline reading, \u201cTrump refers to Milwaukee as \u2018horrible\u2019 just before the city hosts the Republican convention.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2024\/06\/14\/donald-trump-milwaukee-horrible-crime-data\/74089598007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/06\/13\/trump-milwaukee-horrible-wisconsin-democrats-00163243\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on<\/a>, it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2024\/06\/13\/trump-calls-milwaukee-host-for-the-2024-rnc-a-horrible-city\/74083831007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">went<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"firefly-poll-container\">\n<p>Do you trust the mainstream media?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/06\/13\/politics\/video\/milwaukee-mayor-rnc-trump-response-sot-newsnight-digvid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> even celebrated by bringing Milwaukee\u2019s Democrat Mayor, Cavalier Johnson, on the air to absurdly insist that \u201cTrump\u2019s comments about city could \u2018cost him the election.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But while the media was so quick to report that Trump was blasting Milwaukee as \u201chorrible,\u201d people actually in the room struck back and said that the reports were a misconstruction of what Trump actually said and it is all just another typical mainstream media <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-flips-bloodbath-hoax-around-turns-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fabrication<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.donaldjtrump.com\/news\/fdbd9284-3ed2-4df7-855a-e1d07c45bcf5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">campaign website<\/a> rounded up a list of congressmen from the Dairy State who were in the room and who said that Trump was not calling Milwaukee \u201chorrible.\u201d He was talking about the horrible policies with which the Democrats have burdened the city.<\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil, for one, said, \u201cI was in the room. President Trump did not say this.
