Democrat guests were brought in to complain about the ruling \u2014 and claim that the court is leaning too far to the right \u2014 and a few Republicans to push back while the hosts toed the Democrat line.<\/p>\n<p>On ABC\u2019s <strong>\u201cThis Week,\u201d<\/strong> host Jonathan Karl pressed potential Trump VP pick Tim Scott to weigh in on the decision \u2014 and whether or not he would support any new action taken to ban bump stocks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe trust and believe and respect the decision of the Supreme Court,\u201d Scott began, before pivoting to add, \u201cWhat we need to focus on is the violence that we\u2019re seeing across this nation. Under Joe Biden we\u2019ve seen the greatest increase in violent crime in my lifetime. And so focusing on ways for us to reduce that crime means getting four more years of Donald Trump.
