That is anti-Semitism. That is discrimination. It is questioning the legitimacy of the Jewish state, the sole Jewish state in the world. And so against that backdrop, in a sense, it\u2019s not surprising that everything the Jewish state does is wrong, if that\u2019s your frame. And when you say, \u2018everyone else can do X, Y, and Z, but the Jewish state can\u2019t,\u2019 that is a form of discrimination and that is anti-Semitism.\u2019 And that is what we\u2019re watching now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsrael is being held to a standard that no other country or no other people in the world have ever been held to,\u201d he added. \u201cThis is the most scrutinized war that I have ever seen. \u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that the notion that Hamas seriously wanted a ceasefire agreement was nonsense because Hamas believes that it is winning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do not believe Hamas is serious about a real negotiation,\u201d he said. \u201cThe reason I do not believe Hamas is serious about a real negotiation is because they think they are winning. And the reason they think they are winning is because over the last few months pressure has been mounting on Israel, not on Hamas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea that Hamas would negotiate a ceasefire that negotiates them out of existence is preposterous,\u201d he continued. \u201cThey\u2019re not going to do that, especially if they think time is on their side.
