Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, explained that he is a bar owner himself who has spoken to other bar and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/late-night-restaurant-owners-want-to-play-fair-so-far-they-say-newsom-hasnt\/\" title=\"Late-night restaurant owners want to play fair. So far, they say, Newsom hasn't\">restaurant owners<\/a>, and called Trump\u2019s promise \u201cHUGE.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost small buisness\u2019s have all had challenges in staffing,\u201d Kid Rock wrote on Truth Social. \u201cThis will solve so many problems for so many hard working Americans! Trump is a genius and for the working class! Biden is straight Hollywood!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kid Rock included a photo of a receipt he was given at a restaurant, on which he wrote, \u201ca vote for Trump is a vote for no tax on tip!!\u201d and gifted the waiter a $400 tip. <\/p>\n<p>The musician also included a video of Trump speaking at a rally in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday, in which he reiterated his promise to remove taxes on tips. Trump noted that Kid Rock had sent him a photo of his restaurant receipt, saying that the musician was \u201cvery smart\u201d to recommend waiters to vote for him.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One problem with Trump\u2019s promise, however, is that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3033901\/one-big-problem-trump-has-making-tip-tax-promise-reality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>he would not have the power to influence taxation on tipped income<\/a> in a presidential role. For this promise to be kept, it would be up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/congress\/\">Congress <\/a>to change laws on taxing tips; the former president\u2019s campaign told the <em>Washington Examiner <\/em>that he would ask Congress to take this action.<\/p>\n<p>Trump and Kid Rock have consistently been on good terms with each other, with the two even going to a UFC match together in November.
