A spokesperson for her campaign did not respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Haley was briefly diverted from the campaign trail in January to tend to her father, who had cancer and had just been hospitalized, according to multiple <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Kjwalsh_news\/status\/1747761743453937945\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reports<\/a> at the time.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Haley said Sunday that Randhawa, a retired professor who emigrated from India to Canada and then later to the United States, was married for 64 years.
