The pair inevitably criticized Biden\u2019s 2024 opponent, Donald Trump, throughout the night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat [Trump] did\u00a0on Jan. 6, and now he\u2019s literally saying if he doesn\u2019t win, there\u2019ll be a bloodbath,\u201d Biden said. \u201cIt\u2019s outrageous; what he\u2019s talking about is outrageous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve normalized behavior that used to be disqualified,\u201d Obama said of Trump.<\/p>\n<p>This was Biden\u2019s second celebrity fundraiser this cycle, as the first came in March and raised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/2944728\/six-standout-moments-biden-star-studded-fundraiser-obama-clinton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"$25 million \">$25 million <\/a>in New York. Clooney\u2019s wife, Amal Alamuddin, is a prosecutor working with the International Criminal Court, where she has offered her legal expertise since 2005. <\/p>\n<p>The actor previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3001140\/biden-campaign-to-hold-star-studded-la-fundraiser-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hosted a fundraiser for Biden <\/a>ahead of the 2020 election that earned him $7 million.
