His critique\u2062 came during an interview on MSNBC \u200bfollowing a Business\u2063 Roundtable meeting in Washington which coincided with a visit from Trump. The meeting included \u2063notable CEOs like Stephen Schwarzman of \u200cBlackstone, \u2064Tim Cook of Apple, \u2062and Jamie Dimon \u2064of JP Morgan Chase.\u200b Scaramucci referred to the CEOs&#8217; willingness to back Trump again as suffering from &#8220;Trump-nesia,&#8221; especially given their past withdrawals of support during controversial\u200c incidents \u2063such as the Unite The \u200dRight rally and the January 6 Capitol attack. Scaramucci highlighted \u200dSchwarzman\u2019s earlier denouncement of the January 6\u200b events as an insurrection against democratic values.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/anthony-scaramucci\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Anthony Scaramucci<\/a>, a former Trump <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>White House<\/a> communications director, called out some attendees of this week\u2019s Business Roundtable meeting for supporting his former boss in the <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2024 presidential election<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting came Thursday while former President Donald Trump visited Washington and featured prominent CEOs such as Blackstone\u2019s Stephen Schwarzman, Apple\u2019s Tim Cook, and JP Morgan Chase\u2019s Jamie Dimon. In a Saturday interview on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/weekends-with-alex-witt\/watch\/some-ceos-have-trump-nesia-scamucci-comments-on-trump-s-latest-meeting-with-company-leaders-213055557762\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>MSNBC<\/a>, Scaramucci discussed some CEOs\u2019 decisions to support the presumptive Republican presidential nominee for \u201cthese little policy promises that he\u2019s offering.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a little bit of Trump-nesia, if you will,\u201d Scaramucci said.<\/p>\n<p>Scaramucci, who worked in the Trump White House for 11 days in July 2017, cited the Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, and \u201cthree or four other times\u201d when CEOs \u201call pulled their support.\u201d He specifically mentioned Schwarzman, who referred to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack as an insurrection and \u201can affront to the democratic values we hold dear,\u201d according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/01\/19\/business\/schwarzman-blackstone-trump.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><em>New York Times<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is the chaos candidate,\u201d Scaramucci said. \u201cIt was a chaos presidency, and I would just remind these people that they weren\u2019t happy when he was president. Yes, they got their tax cuts, but we\u2019ve also ballooned the deficit, and that is going to come home to roost for these CEOs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Scaramucci discussed CEO support for Trump, a CNBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/06\/14\/ceos-at-trump-meeting-not-impressed.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>report<\/a> this week indicated there was some uncertainty in the wake of his Business Roundtable meeting. One CEO said the former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/protester-in-hamas-garb-holds-up-bloody-biden-mask-at-anti-israel-rally-in-d-c\/\" title=\"Protester in Hamas Outfit Displays Bloodied Biden Mask at D.C. Anti-Israel Rally\">president \u201cdoesn\u2019<\/a>t know what he\u2019s talking about,\u201d and others said he was \u201cremarkably meandering, could not keep a straight thought, [and] was all over the map.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the meeting Trump proposed an extension of his signature 2017 tax cuts, which are set to expire at the end of next year.
